Bird Monger is the Bird-themed Monger of the Machine Empire Black Magma serving the Zero Girls and a minor antagonist in Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan, serving as the main antagonist of the 2nd episode.

He is voiced by the late Teiji Omiya who previously voiced Steel Mask, Camera Mask and Faucet Mask in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Devil Cane in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, most of the Egos Monsters in Battle Fever J, Jukular, Banchirolar, Rosokalar, Mimilar, Bikamalar and Kendamalar in Denshi Sentai Denshiman and later voices Majin Monger, Machine Monger and the Omnipotent God also in Sun Vulcan, Porcupine Mozoo in Dai Sentai Google V and Diving Beetle Evo in Kagaku Sentai Dynaman.

Biography

Bird Monger is created specifically to be used as muscle to help them establish a base in Japan and destroy Sun Vulcan Robo. Bird Monger is used by the Zero Girls in their infiltration plot with Dark Q to create a Black Magma base in Japan. Bird Monger's main mission occurrs when Sun Vulcan discover Black Magma activity over 5,000km away from them, after defeating Dark Q. When they reach the base, Bird Monger attacks and ambushs them and the heroes clash with him. The Monger sends his army of Machinemen against the heroes, but Sun Vulcan easily defeat ed the robots, before defeating and Bird Monger with their Vulcan Ball.

After Bird Monger's Expansion Program activates, he grows to giant size so they summon Sun Vulcan Robo which he tries to destroy with his guns and missiles. After withstanding and deflecting the monster's assault though, Sun Vulcan defeat Bird Monger and kill him with their Aura Plasma Return.

Later, after the death of Toad Monger, Hell Satan is haunted by the ghosts of past Mongers so he reviews footage of the first four Mongers' battles; including Bird Monger. Realising how much it upsets him, Queen Hedrian suggests sending an invincible Monger to kill Sun Vulcan which results in the creation of Wrestler Monger only for him to die as well.
