I heard a gun.
~ Birthday Boy Blam
Well, I've got the hat on, so it must be today...
~ Blam's response to Flumpty Bumpty asking when his birthday was in One Week at Flumpty's 3.

Birthday Boy Blam, also known by his future form Kevin Jr. is the secondary antagonist of the One Night at Flumpty's series.

He is the best friend of Flumpty Bumpty up until the second game where the protagonist becomes Flumpty's new best friend. Throughout the three games, he tries to kill the player in Flumpty's game while they are trapped inside his "house of horrors" and also seems to enjoy playing it just as much as Flumpty. Blam is also capable of changing his face into more scary forms contrary to his supposedly normal appearance.

He is voiced by the series' controversial creator, Jonochrome, who also voiced Flumpty Bumpty and Grunkfuss the Clown in the same series.

Appearance[]

Birthday Boy Blam is small and his head is rectangular. Like most characters in the games, he has a simple face, with two dots for eyes and a line for his smile. Kevin Jr., his future form, is the same as Blam except he has a black monocle, a top hat over his party hat, a bow tie and suspenders, and he's holding a smoking pipe.

In One Night at Flumpty's, when he is at the right door, his eyes become wider and dark, to the point of soulless black, while his face has a wide sadistic smile with a bunch of sharp, rotten teeth and slimy gums, becoming much more nightmarish. When in the hallway in the second game, he has a sadistic smile and grin, while having razor sharp teeth.

Biography[]

Non-canon[]

The Comics[]

Before the games were created, Blam and Flumpty were characters from a webcomic. Blam was the protagonist while Kevin Jr., his future form, was the deuteragonist/main antagonist. In one of the strips, Blam follows Kevin Jr. while wondering if he could trust him. In another one, Blam says that Kevin Jr. dropped a piece of paper and asks why is "Betray Him!" written in big letters. Kevin tells Blam that they both murdered living things today, mentioning how Blam stabbed an innocent man to death earlier, before telling him that they are the same. In another strip, Blam lies on the floor with a knife in his chest while Kevin introduces himself and says he collects hat. Blam doesn't appear again, but another strip has Kevin putting on "Majora's Hat" and then happily going on a walk. The last strip that has the two characters includes Kevin Jr. in a mecha looking like Flumpty Bumpty. The real Flumpty then brutally murders Kevin Jr. and continues his quest to find Cuppercake's sense of direction.

Canon[]

One Night at Flumpty's[]

Birthday Boy Blam will move around the location from CAM 1 to CAM 4 to CAM 2B and then to the office door. The player must close the door to avoid being killed by him.

One Night at Flumpty's 2[]

Blam will go from CAM 6 to CAM 3 to CAM 7 to the hallway. He isn't active until 1 AM and unlike Flumpty, he won't hesitate for two seconds by closing his eyes.

One Week at Flumpty's (The Videos)[]

This is a series of videos with the same name as the cancelled video game. Something usually happens to him during these videos. In the first video he was trapped in Flumpty’s house whilst Flumpty was at a strip club. In the second video he was caught eating Eggs by Flumpty and was eventually force fed him, and in the third video it was his birthday, and Flumpty got him Groundhog Day.

One Week at Flumpty's[]

Flumpty welcomes Birthday Boy Blam to his house and asks if it's his birthday. After being asked why the house has no doors, Flumpty says that he ate them because he was hungry. Blam asks if Flumpty can use his powers to get them out of here, and Flumpty does so, forgetting to take Blam with him. He comes back one week later, saying he was at a strip club, but Blam died.

One Week at Flumpty's 2[]

Flumpty says hi to Birthday Boy Blam and asks what he's eating. After Blam accidentally spills out that he was making eggs, Flumpty says that's rude, because it would be cannibalism if he did it. After a few seconds, Flumpty forces himself inside Blam's mouth to help Blam satiate his appetite.

One Week at Flumpty's 3[]

After Birthday Boy Blam announces One Week at Flumpty's 3 is cancelled, Flumpty busts through the door, and asks Blam when is his birthday. After Blam says it must be today (April Fools) because he wears a party hat, Flumpty gives him a present, which is a DVD of Groundhog Day. Flumpty asks Blam why he doesn't grow up, and after Blam asks if this is a Good Egg/Bad Egg routine, Flumpty pulls out a knife before saying he was joking, as he was at Blam's birth, and will always be there. He then dissapears for no reason. Then it's just Blam alone, for a few seconds.

One Night at Flumpty's 3[]

Birthday Boy Blam's death.

Birthday Boy Blam's death.

Birthday Boy Blam is the first antagonist in the game, being the only one to be active at 12 AM. He ventures throughout the location trying to get into your office. Once he appears in the hallway, you need to flash your light at him, or he will kill you. He is murdered in a gruesome way by Flumpty once Normal Night ends, and it is then followed by Flumpty Night where you can see his corpse alongside everyone else's, his face is shown slit in half. It's also confirmed that his death is canonical as he's killed by Flumpty mid way-through Hard-Boiled Mode, which is the canon ending to the series.

Other Media[]

One Night at Flumpty's 2 (Troll Game)[]

In the troll game released before the actual game, Blam would enter the office from the right side after hearing a gun (because the player just shot Flumpty) saying “I heard a gun!”. The player then has to shoot Blam for the game to proceed.

One Week at Flumpty's (Cancelled Game)[]

Blam would be the only antagonist in Night 1.

Trivia[]

  • Birthday Boy Blam seems to be one of the only characters (alongside Flumpty and Golden Flumpty) that actively enjoys the game.
  • Although there is a Kevin Jr., there wasn't a Kevin Sr.
  • In the first One Night at Flumpty's, Birthday Boy Blam is one of the two characters (alongside Flumpty Bumpty) to immediately activate.
  • It's unknown how Kevin Jr. would exist if Blam was killed before he could become him.
