Biography[]
Not much is known about his past other than he was a pirate, much likely named after the famous Roman Emperor. When he died his soul went to Hell where he was tortured by Hellhounds. His soul would later become property of Astra Logue. Then Lachesis stole his soul.
He is sent to get the last ring of the Loom of Fate from Constantine in the Victorian Guesthouse. He arrives along with Bonnie & Clyde, Henry the eighth, and Brutus. Jack the Ripper arrived at the same time as Constantine and Zari. When Jack the Ripper tried to attack Zari he was hit unconscious and tied up by Constantine. It turns out that Lachesis has promised free reign on Earth to the one that brings her the ring. Constantine dresses up as Jack the Ripper to try and figure out where the Ring is. As they are about to eat supper they all talk about the Ring, and Black Caesar says that he won't share the treasure with anyone but his crew. Each of the Encores have a Hell weapon, and as they are about to shoot each other after Henry the eighth has been shot, Zari walks into the room as Cleopatra. She convinces the other Encores that they should work together because they would have all the power when they had the ring. They should use the Ring to demand that they all would be set free. After eating supper they begin searching the house for the ring, Bonnie is the first one to break the truce as she shoots Brutus. Black Caesaruses a compass to try and find the ring and Constantine thinks that it must have some sort of Hell powers but just as Constantine is going to go and grab it Black Caesaris shot and thereby killed by Clyde.
Personality[]
It seems as if he has no remorse for his evil actions but he might even be proud of them because he kind of bragges of being tortured by the Hellhounds. He seems to think that it was the worst kind of torture anyone could be exposed to. He might also have honor as he claims that he is willing to share his treasure with his crew.
