Black Sumoman is the minor antagonist in the movie Kinnikuman: Showdown! The Seven Justice Chojin vs. The Space Bandits from the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.
History[]
Black Sumoman is a member of the Space Bandits, an infamous army of over one thousand evil Chojin who are known for invading and destroying countless planets in the past. One day, the Space Bandits would attack Planet Rakka, destroying a great deal of the homes on the planet and taking over the royal family of the planet, making the planet theirs.
Once the Black King sent a challenge to the seven Justice Chojin to decide the fate of Planet Rakka, Black Sumoman would be one of the seven members of the Space Bandits to fight against them being the one to fight against Wolfman.
In their fight, Wolfman and Black Sumoman would be fairly equal to each other in terms of strength, however, Wolfman would get the upper hand when he slammed Black Sumoman onto the corner post of the ring, splitting Black Sumoman's body into pieces. Unfortunately for Wolfman, Black Sumoman would instantly regenerate with every piece growing into a new Black Sumoman who would all dogpile Wolfman, beating him almost instantly.
After this point, Black Sumoman is never seen again with him likely being killed by the Justice Chojin when they invaded Black King's castle.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin, the Black Sumoman has superhuman strength, speed and durability. Other abilities that Chojin have that Black Sumoman have is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
- Regeneration: All of the Space Bandits have a highly advanced level of regeneration allowing them to regenerate from any injury and if they lose a limb, the separated limb will grow into a clone of the person it was removed from. The only way to kill a Space Bandit is to strike their heart or deal enough damage to make their body phase away.
