History
Early life
Not much is known yet about Blackfire's past other than implications that she shared a rather unfair childhood with her sister, Koriand'r, who traditionally goes by Kory Anders and Starfire. While Blackfire also grew up in the Tamaranean royal family, however, she did not feel loved by her family or people. She often got made fun of, especially by her sister. She had difficulties making friends and was often underestimated. She spent the majority of her life in her sister's shadow. There was also a time when she found out about Kory's relationship with a royal guard, Faddei, and nearly had him castrated as a result.
Usurping The Throne
Following the high demand that her sister claims the throne, Blackfire sent Faddei to Earth to retrieve Kory and bring her back to Tamaran. But when the mission became prolonged, Blackfire took matters into her own hands using deadly Tamaranean-tech to possess Faddei's body. Imposing as Faddei, Blackfire attempted to convince Kory to return to Tamaran to possibly rule as queens together. Eventually, Blackfire was discovered, which ultimately caused the mercy killing of Faddei. She revealed that she claimed the throne for herself and murdered their parents. Claiming she now found her own family, she welcomed Kory's threats of coming after her, merely replying "Good" and fades but not without blowing up the second Tamaranean spaceship, leaving Kory stranded on Earth yet again.
Arriving on Earth
Sometime later, following the defeat of Deathstroke, Mercy Graves, and Cadmus and the death Donna Troy (also known as Wonder Girl), Blackfire arrives on Earth by taking over the body of an unsuspecting woman.
