Bladedamus is the main antagonist of the Arcade version of Ninja Gaiden. He is a descendant of Nostradamus who leads a cult dedicated to his predictions in order to destroy the world.
Biography[]
Bladedamus is a descendant of Nostradamus who praised and believed his ancestor prophecies like a zealot, to the point that he became obsessed with his end of the world prediction.
He created his own cult bent on the destruction of the entire world and amassed an army of powerful warriors and criminals, which infested New York City. His plan seemed to be succeeding until two ninjas from a clan that had shaped the curse of history for years (one of them being Ryu Hayabusa), entered the fight and started defeating all of Bladedamus' forces throughout the city.
They eventually reached the cult hideout, a cave with a giant sculpture of Nostradamus's head on the entrance. They defeated every member of the organization and finally faced Bladedamus in a final showdown on his own throne room. Despite Bladedamus' great strength and powers, he was ultimately defeated, and without him, his cult disappeared and presumably disbanded.

Bladedamus wears a gray warlord mask adorned with horns and gold pieces and sombat armor with spiked boots, similarly designed bracelets,and a medallion with a "Z" on it embedded into two straps that intersect across his chest.
