Blake as a child.

In 1995, Blake lived under the strict supervision of his father Grady. As they traversed the Oregon forest, Grady showed him how it was beautiful and dangerous at the same time, even warning him not to eat certain mushrooms. Upon encountering a deer, Blake abandoned his father to get a better angle, only to find himself cornered by a strange creature. His dad angrily scolded him, but quickly told him to hide in a deer hunting outpost, and to cover his ears. Grady aimed his gun at the door, before the thing angrily smacked at it and left them to eat a deer. Despite his fear, Grady told his son it was just a bear. However, later that night, he overheard his father talking to his coworker Dan about the "missing hiker", though he would startle his dad.

Over the next thirty years, Grady became more paranoid, causing Blake to move to San Francisco when he turned 18 and swear to never become like his father. Blake would both become a writer and marry a journalist named Charlotte, renting an apartment and conceiving a child named Ginger. The young girl's "spoiled brat" attitude really contrasted with his passive personality, thus making him snap at her, just like his own father, when she disobeyed or got herself in danger (such as climbing over a ledge close to the street or startling a homeless man).

By this point, Blake was unemployed, making Charlotte the breadwinner. This created a rift between the family, with Ginger becoming closer to Blake, whilst the couple had ever more quarrels, something Charlotte despised. It was at this point that Blake was notified that his own dad, who had gone missing, was officially declared dead and thus making him sole heir. Wanting to fix his family, he invited them to stay with him for the summer in Oregon, whilst he stored away his stuff in the old farm.

He rented a pickup truck, and went on his way. Unfortunately, they got lost and there was no signal. That was when Ginger noticed a man, who Charlotte was against talking to due to having a gun. Blake dismissed her worries, asking the stranger for directions, only for him to reveal the property they currently were was his, Derek, Dan's son, who was well acquainted with Blake. He rudely entered the car and guided them. As night drops, Derek talked to Blake, asking him about his family, his work, completely ignoring Charlotte. Blake casually told him he was an unemployed writer and a stay-at-home husband. Derek just told him he had a lovely family, and that he shouldn't have come. Suddenly, Blake went off the road upon noticing a humanoid creature in the road.

As the truck tilted, it got caught between some trees. Blake, dazed, ordered his family to exit the vehicle, but Derek foolishly opened the door and fell off. Soon, Blake heard growls, and through the truck sidemirror noticed the creature approaching. Still hanging from his seat, he struggled to close the door, only for the beast to smash the window, slash Blake's arm, and kill Derek, dragging him away. Soon, Blake exited the driver seat and helped his family get off. After that, Blake successfully led them through the forest and onto the property, narrowly avoiding the beast chasing them by locking the door and placing some furniture to barricade the door.

After restarting the old power generator to get the lights on, Blake comforted and calmed his daughter, then Charlotte asked him what was that creature that attacked them, Blake described to her that before the crash, he looked right in the eyes of the creature, telling that was "standing on its feet, like a person". After that, he focused his attention to getting help from outside, remembering an old CB radio that his father used to communicate. Blake and Charlotte go to the basement, where after trying to contact someone on the CB, Blake smelled something rotten coming from a room, after investigating, he discovered bags of meat hooked up and some beef jerky that belonged to his father. After taking a bite of the jerky, Blake's tooth fell of, thinking was because his jaw hit the steering wheel, Charlotte noticed that a cut in his arm and asked him how it happened, Blake told her it was probably from glass cut. After treating her husband wound, Blake asked Charlotte to keep trying to reach someone on the radio.

Blake then hammered in some boards to reinforce the barricade on the door, but he started to sweat profusely and feel thirsty, so he drank some water from the faucet on the kitchen. Suddenly, his sense of hearing got so much sensitive he heard some banging noise coming from upstairs, he decided to investigate, going to his old bedroom and seeing that the banging noise was just an spider climbing the wall of the closet. Blake entered in a panic state, as he realized something strange was happening to him, but after hearing an howl from afar, he got downstairs, Charlotte asked him what he heard, he made a gesture asking her to make silence, then started to track the creature outside with his new sense of hearing. The creature grabbed him by the foot through the dog door, in the distress, Charlotte quickly grabbed a hammer and smashed the monster arm with it, after this, Blake's body collapsed and he passed out.

Blake woke up after some hours, still in a stupor and limping, he searched for his wife, going down to the basement after hearing some distorted noises, which was Charlotte still trying to contact someone on the radio to help them, but without success. She heard Blake behind her, realizing her husband got infected with some kind of disease, noticing that his face was deformed, he couldn´t talk, nor understand her or Ginger. Blake layed down a bit, and noticed that his hair was falling out, Ginger got worried for her father, but when Charlotte tried to calm her daughter down about Blake, she noticed that his arm was bleeding too much, asking Ginger to go another room, she started to unwrap the bandages of her husband arm, to reveal that the wound had worsened and now it was exposed. Blake tried to fight the pain, scratching the wound, gnawing it like a animal, losing control for a moment but soon regaining conscience after seeing Charlotte horrified face. After staring in each other eyes for an instant, Blake and his wife knew something weird was happening, Charlotte started to formulate a plan to scape from the farmhouse after seeing Grady's truck outside, she grabbed the battery and keys from the truck in the basement and armed herself with a kitchen knife. The trio stepped outside, watching to see if the monster was in sight, after arriving at the truck quietly, Blake got in the passenger seat, seemingly in pain from the change his body was going trough, scaring Ginger. After many attempts, Charlotte managed to revive the truck´s engine and prepared to start the truck and leave.

But after turning the windshield, the werewolf appeared before them and lunged at Charlotte, breaking the windshield and almost wounding her, but getting stuck while doing so. The trio started to run and climbed to the top of the farm greenhouse, being pursued by the werewolf, who started to claw trough the celling of the structure to get one of them, almost killing Ginger. Blake then signaled Charlotte to go back to the house with Ginger and jumped from the top of the green house and ran into the forest, sacrificing himself to attract the monster and give his wife and daughter time to escape.

Blake, who at this point was almost consumed by the curse, fought the werewolf and bit one of its fingers off. Meanwhile, Charlotte and Ginger managed to get back in the house while hearing a fight between Blake and the monster, Ginger got mad at Charlotte for seemingly leaving her father to die, and after a brief argument, Blake returned and Charlotte opened the kitchen door for him. Blake was more deformed than before, Ginger tried to approach him and play the game they usually played, to guess what each other was thinking. This seemed the only time he could understand anything since his transformation started. Blake vomited a finger out and after losing control again, lunged at Charlotte, who stood up to him, staring without fear. Blake regained control and realized he was putting the safety of his wife and daughter at risk, so he decided to leave and go away as far as possible.

Just as he opened the door, however, the werewolf tackled him. The two fought, and the werewolf threw Blake over a table and smacked him. The werewolf howled and pinned Blake down, but Charlotte stabbed it in the back with a knife. The werewolf chased Charlotte and Ginger as Charlotte hid Ginger in a room, but Blake stood in its way. As the fight resumed, the werewolf smashed Blake into a wall, bit his arm, sent him flying into a shelf, and smacked him unconscious before dragging him away. When it heard Ginger's screams, Charlotte attacked it with a fire poker, but the werewolf dodged her third strike. Blake recovered, tackled the beast, and killed it by biting its throat out. Blake discovered that the beast was actually his father, Grady, recognizing his tattoo, and left the house. Outside, his werewolf transformation completed, and he fully succumbed to the curse.

His first actions as Lycantrope were to move up to the front door, staring straight into Charlotte's eyes through the window. He then climbed onto the roof and broke in through the second floor window, slowly creeping down the stairs, positioning himself behind his daughter. He was soon spotted by his wife, and as he either tried to corner or communicate with them, he received a knife slash from Charlotte as he tried to reach out to Ginger. His attempt to disarm her culminated in his hand being wounded and the women escaping for the barn. He left the house and chased after them, determined, clawing his way through the ground and wooden door to get inside. His night vision perfectly enabled to spot his 2 prey standing very still in front of him. However, as he approached them, he felt intense pain on his right foot, for a bar trap had been set up for him. He was flashed, and as he tried to chase after the duo, he found himself restrained by the chain connected to his foot trap. Being unable to break it open but not wanting his prey to escape, he howls and begins chowing his leg away, eating and shaking until the bone broke and separated. Weakened from the effort and bloodloss, Blake slowly crawled his way out of the barn, before suddenly galloping after his family, following them deep into the forest, before stopping for a howl. He cut them off at the original crash site, climbing atop the toppled truck he rented, before following them into the hunting post, as the sun rose and iluminated the forest. Blake went up the ladder, his hot breath visible, and then surfaced, being eye to eye with his wife, who was holding a riffle. He did not initially attack them, seemingly controlling himself and hinting to his daughter Ginger that he wanted to die before he lsot himself. Whether he lost control or forced his wife's hand is unknown, but he broke the door down, before being pushed back by a shot to the chest. In his last moments, Blake enjoyed the company of his family, whilst looking up into the sky, eyeing the forestline. He perishes, breaking the curse of the "face of the wolf".
