Blarney T. Hokestar is a former con-man and currently a smoothie salesman in Ben 10: Omniverse.
Appearance[]
Blarney is a four-armed humanoid alien, that wears a red uniform. He has orange hair and a mustache that covers his mouth. He has green skin and is a little taller than Ben.
Personality[]
Blarney is very talkative and talks in a formal British dialect. He bears no malicious intent, showing that he cares about money and presenting himself as a respectable business man. He's also shown to be a morally indifferent con-man of sorts attempting to con various people into buying his "Miracle Elixir", which is made from the milk of a dangerous and endangered creature called a Screegit.
Biography[]
In his initial appearance, Blarney sought to sell inhabitants of Undertown and Ben a product dubbed "Professor Blarney T. Hokestar's Miracle Elixir," which is manufactured from the milk of a captive Screegit. Seeing Ben's fame, he attempted unsuccessfully to get Ben to be his spokesperson.
Later in the episode, an alien rights activist called Pax enlisted Ben's help in his quest to release the imprisoned Screegit. A three-way struggle broke out over the Screegit, resulting in it being released and expanding to enormous proportions when exposed to Earth's nitrogen-rich atmosphere. Blarney was able to confine the Screegit and suction out the nitrogen, restoring it to his rightful size with Ben's assistance. The Screegit was brought into Plumber custody, and Ben warned the Professor that if he saw another Screegit, he would tie him to Pax for a year.
He was one of the characters at Psyphon's auction in Special Delivery.
Between Have I Got a Deal for You, Blukic, and Driba Go to Mr. Smoothy's, Blarney began selling smoothies at his dimension-hopping Mr. Smoothy's establishment (one which is not listed by the Mr. Smoothy website).
He reappeared in Collect This, presumably unlearned, and is once again hawking his Miracle Elixir (this time he claims it is Screegit-free). Due to Ben's refusal to support him, he is compelled to work with Simian to promote Deefus' interplanetary television program based on the hero. This was to sell his elixir and other items, as well as perform public demonstrations for promotional purposes. This quest, however, is jeopardized when they arrive on Earth.
The Earth is offered as a "Ben 10 collectible" as a result of Simian's shady deals with Collectimus. Despite the fact that Ben was able to avoid the calamity, Hokestar was once again left with no compensation for his troubles. Worse, when Deefus chooses to use his own name, Hokestar bursts into tears.
He appeared briefly at the end of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Ben World: Part 2 after being recruited by Rook to utilize his dimension-hopping Mr. Smoothy to find and return Ben and Ben 23 from Mad Ben's Dimension.
