The Bleacher Creatures are major villains from Season 3 of Clone High. They are a sub-society of social outcasts at Clone High High School, who have been banished underneath the bleachers of the school gym, where they all reside in darkness and plot vengeance on the popular kids. They are led by social pariah, Topher Bus, who has them do pretty ridiculous things that usually never cause harm to anyone other than themselves, though they have managed to cause actual trouble on occasion.
Biography[]
The Bleacher Creatures first appeared in the Season 3 premiere episode, "Blinded With Pseudoscience: Magnetic Distractions", where they summoned Joan of Arc to join their crew. They explained to her that they were all a bunch of social pariahs in the eyes of the rest of the students and due to Joan's fall from grace in attempting to kill all of the other students, she would make a perfect new addition to the team. Joan was hesitant to join them, not wanting to compromise her principles and become evil, especially since it meant betraying her old friends. However, she was eventually convinced that she had no choice but to join them when her old friends made it very clear that they hated her and never wanted to associate with her ever again. When becoming part of the Bleacher Creatures, Topher did very little actual evil for the majority of the episode, as his primary concern was finding a logo for their team. He eventually settled on their group name in yellow, along with a bunch of drawings of their butts, which he and the Bleacher Creatures finally spraypainted onto the school wall at the end of the episode.
In "Don't You Get It? Sports Are Huge in This Town", The Bleacher Creatures plotted to sabotage the cheerleading squad by replacing the "CL" sign of their "CLONE HIGH" super sign with a "B" sign so that it would say "BONE HIGH" and make an ambiguously sexual reference, which they apparently found very amusing. Topher tasked Joan with infiltrating the cheerleading squad and betraying Harriet to make this happen. Joan felt guilty about doing this to her best friend but Jackée the Ripper reminded her of just how horribly Harriet treated her in the past and helped Joan grow to hate Harriet. Joan would later get cold feet again, when Harriet told Joan that she was starting to forgive her for almost killing her and Joan had to betray the team by not replacing the "CL" sign with a "B" sign and instead just dropping the signs entirely. This led to the super sign reading "ONE HIGH", which the audience loved because the message indicated unity among the Clone High student/teacher body, in that they were all one. The Bleacher Creatures were surprisingly satisfied with this too as they interpreted this as a drug reference, in that the people of Clone High are "one high" group of people.
In "Bible Humpers: A Much Needed Pray-Cation", Joan had a conversation with Harriet and Topher called her out, telling her that a rule of the Bleacher Creatures is that they do not fraternize with the popular kids. Joan just lied and said that all she was doing was telling Harriet to eat a bunch of butts and Topher enjoyed the concept of popular kids eating butts.
In "The Principal Principle: Sub Zero to Sub Hero", Joan became the principal in the absence of Candide, Scudworth, and Mr. Butlertron and threw a huge party, while they were away. The Bleacher Creatures saw this as an opportunity to become popular again, believing that if she as a bleacher creature, could earn the respect of the popular kids, then there was hope for them to become popular too. However, Joan worried that allowing the other Bleacher Creatures to go to the party would lead to her continuing to be unpopular, so she tricked them all into getting themselves locked in the broom closet. The Bleacher Creatures were not happy about this, so they eventually broke out of the broom closet and released a bunch of venomous snakes into the party room, to attack the students, including Joan. Joan and the other clones fought them off with a bear and a falcon and saved everyone. After this whole ordeal, Topher kicked Joan out of the Bleacher Creatures, which Joan couldn't care less about because at this point, she had finally regained respect from her old friends again.
In "The Cloniest Place on Earth: Missile While You Work", The Bleacher Creatures were all workers at the Cloney Island theme park, particularly at Villain Village. They rather enjoyed their new jobs working there because in Villain Village, they could all be their true evil selves openly and proudly and instead of being scorned for it, they would be praised by a bunch of fans, who were all going to the carnival to have some fun, meeting all of the cool clones there. Harriet even admitted that this was the best part of the park.
