Bleak is the fifth boss of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It works under King K. Rool's command.
Biography[]
As the fifth boss of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Kiddy and Dixie will enter his arena and engage in a snowball fight against Bleak, Bleak will pop up out of random locations among the field the Kongs encounter him in, he will then throw a snowball at them which upon contact will damage them, the Kongs must throw Snowballs at his scarf to damage him, Bleak will eventually shoot Snowballs from his hat, after doing this attack Bleak will laugh which is a free point if the Kongs throw a snowball at him, after taking enough hits Bleak will be defeated and play his damage sound which will start to speed up and get higher in pitch and he will also start to shake rapidly and then spontaneously explode. Like all of the other bosses Bleak will drop a Kremkoin as an award.
Appearance[]
Bleak is a chunky living snowman in a stereotypical and archetypal snowman attire dressed up with the iconic and traditional snow man top hat, a bright purple scarf, cuffs with yellow buttons, fancy shoes, and the carrot for a nose. Bleak also has a black thick line around his eyes which have green pupils and are bloodshot a trend among the bosses in the game. In the battle Bleak has a large red button on his scarf which is his weak spot although his render doesn't have this.
Trivia[]
- Bleak's laugh will be used once again by Nintendo for the laugh of King Boo, albeit with a higher pitch.
