Bleed is a minor antagonist of the Sonic the Comic Online! webcomic series. He is a mosquito hailing from the Special Zone who possesses the ability to control warm blood, and uses it to conduct thefts and robberies.
Appearance[]
Bleed is a dark brown mosquito with two antennae, four arms, two legs and two wings. He has red eyes. For attire, he wears a plain and dirty white coat and white shoe covers.
Personality[]
Bleed claims to like silverware, though it's unknown if he likes to keep them around or just sell them for money. He also likes his robberies to be challenging, which is why he makes himself as easy to locate as possible.
But what he seems to enjoy the most is using is blood-twisting powers on Mobians, be they innocent bystanders or law enforcers, even taunting those succumbing to them and sending them in conditions so bad to where said his victims would be sent to a hospital ward. It is also mentioned by Tails' nurse that the conditions of Bleed's hemokinesis can be fatal if not treated in a certain amount of time.
He is also quite a coward, as he openly mocks endothermic animals for being easy prey while losing his bravado when forced to fight ectotherms.
Overall, he is a sadistic and cruel psychopath who loves to cause suffering of others, having no remorse nor guilt and being willing to endanger lives of innocent people.
Biography[]
Bleed is a member of the Family, having escaped the Special Zone's destruction alongside it and settled on Mobius. Eventually, he took to robbing houses on a single street in Eldorado Zone, in order to dra out the police and Freedom Fighters more easily.
During one such heist, he was confronted by Amy Rose, and used his hemokinetic abilities to turn her blood cold, hospitalizing her. To avenge her, Tails took up the case, realizing that Bleed wanted, in fact, to be found, as he liked a challenge. The fox ambushed the mosquito during another robbery and used stun grenades to blind him. Nevertheless, Bleed managed to raise diastolic pressure and adrenaline levels in Tails' blood, making him lose control of himself and get a heart attack, ending up in the ward as well.
After said incident, Tails realized that Bleed's powers only worked on warm-blooded animals. To rectify this weakness, he assembled a team of cold-blooded and bloodless heroes and villains, including the Chaotix sans Mighty, Filch and a Guardian Robot among others.
Bleed's powers proved useless against them, and in fact made them stronger instead. The thief was beaten and locked up in a prison guarded solely by reptiles, with a courtroom for his trial being carefully selected. It's unknown if the Family got him a lawyer or just let him go to jail.

- Although Bleed is never shown actually drinking blood, his hemokinesis is clearly based on the fact that most real-life species of mosquitoes feed on blood. Male mosquitoes, however, don't drink blood.
