The Blegh is the main villain of the Canadian-American tv animation series Big Blue. He is a dark magical sea ooze with the ability to pollute anything and corrupt/brainwash one he touches. His desires are to rule the world/ocean under his own corrupt possession. He is also the arch-nemesis of the Calypso Crew, specifically the youngest member Bacon Berry, a type of guardians that sealed him away and was the last one of her kind remaining for him kill.

He was voiced by Ron Rubin.

Personality

The Blegh is best described tyrannical, savage, brutal and cold-hearted that is willing to take over the big blue and destroy the last of the guardians that defeated and sealed him away.

Appearance

The Blegh is a black goo color being.

Biography

The Blegh was created when the people of Earth began polluting the world, which has a result making the pollution even stronger. It didn’t last forever, thankfully, when a race of Guardians use their magic to drive the Blegh away and create the underwater world to keep it save. The Blegh survived, however, and vowed to defeat the guardians and anyone standing in his way.

Trivia

• The Blegh and Bacon Berry are the only characters to die, which was both at the same time in the season finale episode. However, Bacon Berry was revived by the end, whilst the Blegh isn’t revived.
