Robert DuBois is a minor antagonist in Season 3 of Supergirl. He is a former military soldier turned high-tech mercenary, codenamed Bloodsport who was contracted to bomb National City's waterfront by corrupt industrialist Morgan Edge. Eventually Dubois was defeated by Supergirl and imprisoned for his crimes.
Robert DuBois joined the military and was stationed at Fort Harrison, where he was part of the security detail until he was caught stealing weaponry. Dubois evaded arrest and went into business as a freelance mercenary with a unique set of skills.
Working for Morgan Edge[]
In late 2017, DuBois was hired by Morgan Edge to further his goal of expanding his real estate development project along National City's waterfront. Dubois began stealing various items to fulfill his contract including a high-pressure regulator and a teal a cloaking device from a Daxamite war ship. DuBois also fought Supergirl on several occasions and escaped each time with what he needed. He later met with Edge and assured him that everything was on schedule.
Attacking the Waterfront and Defeat[]
Dubois used the regulator to stabilize the internal force of a submarine to withstand the pressure emitted from the cloaking device and fired missiles at the waterfront during the unveiling of the Girl of Steel statue. The underwater attack causes massive earthquakes to occur on the surface endangering the lives of many civilian's including Samantha Arias' daughter, Ruby. Supergirl locates the submarine with her super hearing and dives underwater to stop it, but DuBois fires and detonates a stray nuke to incapacitate her. However, Supergirl recovers just in the nick of time and manages to stop the next missile by lifting the submarine out of the water, foiling their plans. DuBois was subsequently arrested afterwards.
