Villain Overview

You dare acknowledge my existence and threaten to remove me from your life?
~ The Blue Border confronting Scott Wozniak when he reaches its base.
I AM ALL POWERFUL, I AM ETERNAL LIFE!
~ The Border after delivering its evil monologue to Scott Wozniak.

The Blue Border is the overarching antagonist of the Scott The Woz web series/television series.

It is a thin, blue border that is around every episode of Scott The Woz that goes unseen by Scott Wozniak until Episode 200 "Borderline Forever", where the Blue Border (the titular antagonist of the episode) reveals its plan of worldwide domination.

The Blue Border is also the mascot of Scott The Woz and has been in the series ever since the first episode in 2017 and it has remained that way throughout the whole ongoing series.

It is voiced by Scott Wozniak, who is also the creator of the series.

Roles[]

It appears as the overarching antagonist of every other season, with the exception of season 5, where it serves as the main antagonist. It most notably serves as the titular main antagonist of “Borderline Forever” and a cameo character in The Caddicarus Show.

Appearance[]

The Blue Border has a very simple appearance with the hexadecimal color code "324bf4" being used as its color and a rectangular shape although the other characters believe the Border is a square. In Season 1, the Border was a lot thicker than it is now, but it shrunk in size during the Season 1 finale, something that Scott Wozniak mentions after he takes in the Border as its host.

Personality[]

The Blue Border is very arrogant, the reason why it targeted Scott Wozniak as it's first victim was for the reason that it believed that Scott was the most worthless person on Earth due to him wasting all his time reviewing video games. Although the Blue Border is very powerful it doesn't attack until Scott becomes a threat to it, this could be laziness, fear, or it had a plan of attack in mind for later. The Blue Border is heavily egotistical but It doesn't want anybody to notice it which could be a fear that people would attempt to attack it.

Biography[]

The Blue Border first appeared in the very first episode and is the first character shown on screen in the series as the first frame is outside Scott's house with the Blue Border surrounding it.

The Blue Border is first noticed while Scott Wozniak is talking about the blue border that appears in the multiplayer mode for the video game Super Mario 3D World once he sees the border in the video game he begins to notice the Blue Border that he sees in his room. Scott contacts his therapist so they can see inside his head to find memories of the border which includes flashbacks to when he fought Steel Wool and Dr. Anna May. The Border then begins to close inside of Scott's brain which makes him end up in the hospital. Scott gets treated and then contacts his friends to head to the real location of the Blue Border in which they believe it's in space. Once Scott and his friends (which he named "Team F***ed") enters the base they meet the Blue Border. The Blue Border covers the Earth in a massive blue border. The Border gives Scott and others a tough time but they eventually do enough damage to it to where it's shrunk down enough and paralyzed. Scott believes that they can't leave the Border like this or else it would grow and take over the world again so he takes the Blue Border as it's hosts.

In Crossovers[]

Although the Blue Border is always with Scott Wozniak, the Border is strangely absent in most crossovers the series have done. This may be due to the fact that none of the crossovers done with the series are canon except for the crossovers where other series appear on Scott The Woz (for example, The Angry Video Game Nerd making an appearance in Borderline Forever). A more notable time the Border was absent was in the 2021 film, Hero Mode, where Scott Wozniak made a cameo but the Blue Border didn't appear at all.

Caddicarus[]

In the Caddicarus episode, "The Stupid World of Portable Crash Bandicoot Games" the Blue Border does appear with Scott Wozniak and is mentioned by Caddicarus himself. Later, Caddicarus zooms out the camera and reveals that The Blue Border that surrounds Scott is actually Crash Bandicoot's pants. This crossover isn't canon though, as is the same with all other crossovers.

MONOPOLY®: Scott The Woz Edition[]

The Blue Border's base (named "Blue Border Space Station" in-game) appears as a purchasable property in-game. The Blue Border also surrounds all the characters on the box art for the game.

Trivia[]

  • The Blue Border is also around the thumbnail for every Scott The Woz episode.
  • In the episode Game Compilations Compilation, Scott Wozniak says that if there were a small blue border around every game it would get annoying. a reference to the Blue Border.
