Blues Kong is one of the Destructoids created by the DARK organization and an antagonist in episode 7 of Android Kikaider.
He is voiced by Teiji Omiya, who also voiced Green Mantis in an earlier episode and later voiced Red Hakaider in Kikaider 01.
Biography[]
Blues Kong attacked a group of children on a camping trip that was near a DARK base. He later went after Tetsuo Inada, a man whose wife Mitsue was killed by DARK who was trying to raise awareness about the existence of the organization. He had a group of Android Men carry three chests that had his body parts in them into Inada's house, and when Inada came home, Blues Kong emerged from the chests and assembled himself before killing Inada. Blues Kong then separated his body and went back into the chests before having his Android Men carry him out. Right after Blues Kong left, an amnesiac Dr. Komyoji arrived at the residence, searching for clues to his true identity and having recognized the word "DARK" on one of the fliers Inada had passed out. However, Inada's son came home right after and found Komyoji with his father's body, leading him to believe Komyoji was the killer.
After Komyoji was taken into custody, Professor Gill recognized his picture when it was shown on the news and sent Blues Kong with a team of Android Men to recapture him. However, Jiro also recognized Komyoji and went to rescue the professor, leading him to have another encounter with Blues Kong. After becoming Kikaider and fighting off the Android Men, Kikaider destroyed Blues Kong with his Denji End finisher.
