~ Bob Clinton after Benson questions what he would have done to his victim if the police arrived 5 minutes later. |
Bob Clinton is an main antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Chicago P.D. crossover episode "Chicago Crossover". He is the middleman of the 'Chess and Checkers Club', a prolific pedophile ring that livestreams the rape and sexual torture of children.
He was portrayed by Mark H. Dold.
Biography[]
Overview[]
For 10 years, the Chess and Checkers Club had either abducted children off the streets or paid people to bring children to them, then they would film their rapes for years and traffic them to other pedophiles; in recent years, they'd upgrade to livestreaming the rapes and allowing viewers to suggest whatever happens to the victims.
"Chicago Crossover"[]
Clinton contacts an employee working at a Youth Centre and pays him to kidnap a young boy named 'Henry' whom he keeps for several days and repeatedly taunts him, making him look at the camera as he promises to put on a 'very special show'.
Throughout the episode, he repeatedly taunts Henry about what he is going do to him as the SVU and Chicago P.D. work together to discover the club's whereabouts and stop them.
His former victims eventually reconcile and help SVU and Chicago P.D. discover his name; they manage to track him down several moments before he rapes Henry, getting promptly arrested afterwards.
It is revealed that the club is still in business; Sergeants Olivia Benson of SVU and Hank Voight of Chicago P.D. interrogate Bob as he taunts them about their lack of information before demanding 'full immunity'. He then goes to prison, where he is murdered by another inmate.
