Bob and Linda Miller are two major antagonists of the Everything is Fine horror webcomic. They are two of three secondary antagonists of Season 1, alongside Officer Tom. They are the neighbors of Sam and Maggie Wilkerson who seek to sabotage them for their own benefit.
Biography[]
At some point Bob and Linda had two unnamed children (one male, one female) who were taken by the world's government. Bob started working as an employee at the box incinerator while Linda likely remained a housewife after the takeover.
In the present, they were first seen inviting Linda and her husband Sam over for dinner the upcoming day. When their neighbor Charlie pulls up at his own house, they invite him, though in a forceful manner. At dinner, the two greet each other with bad jokes, making the situation extremely awkward. When Charlie comes over, the two have what seems to be a fun dinner. In actuality, this was a cover-up to lure Charlie to their house and have him spill his secret to Maggie. They end up reporting Charlie's secret tinfoil basement to the police, leading them to turn Charlie into a red-status so they can get their property in Lakeview they desired.
Personality[]
On the outside, Bob and Linda appear to be friendly and kind neighbors, much like everybody else in their world. In actuality, they are manipulative and nosy opportunists who enjoy ruining other peoples' lives to get ahead in life. They take advantage of the society's rules by exposing their neighbor's secrets, not caring about the traumatic affects their targets face. They are not above trying to expose their "friends" even after they already got what they wanted, showing they are extremely greedy.
They are extremely hypocritical, as they themselves have their own secret basement, yet expose other people for having them. After being demoted to red-status, they blame Maggie and Sam, not fessing up to the fact they previously tried to cause their downfall.
When in private, Bob is much more calm and methodical, while Linda is more outwardly sadistic. Linda is shown to be controlling over their relationship as Bob is to timid to question her ideas. Their awful traits are mostly fueled by their desire to see their children again, whom they actually seemingly deeply cared. After the death of their children, Linda goes into an understandable homicidal rage.
