~ Bob's realiziation of his horrible actions before he commits suicide. |
Bob the Cucumber is an antagonist of the episode "Clum Babies" from Season Two of Drawn Together, he is a member of the VeggieFables, a religious propaganda disguised as a children's cartoon. He is a parody of Larry the Cucumber from the Christian children's cartoon VeggieTales.
He was voiced by James Arnold Taylor, who also voiced Wooldoor Sockbat, the Jew Producer, and various other characters from the series, as well as Osi Sobeck and Rako Hardeen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Eddie in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
Background[]
When Wooldoor Sockbat hits puberty, he begins acting incredibly horny, and it is revealed that when his species masturbates, they eject gooey creatures of their mouths known as Clum Babies, these creatures are revealed to have the ability to heal people by laying on their heads and melting into their bodies, and so the Housemates begin profiting of of them by setting up a stand and having many sick and injured people come to it. Princess Clara shows heavy disdain towards this, thinking masturbation is a sin due to her Christian beliefs, and so she recruits the VeggieFables to stand against this. The VeggieFables manage to scare Wooldoor into believing that he'll go to hell for masturbation, and he begins repenting for his actions.
Clara is soon revealed to have become ill with tuberculosis, and so she goes to the Clum Baby stand so the Clum Babies could heal her, but to no avail as Wooldoor vowed to not masturbate again and began spending most of his time with the VeggieFables. Foxxy Love and Spanky Ham decide to kidnap Wooldoor to help Clara, and so they tie him to a chair in a room and force him to watch a pornographic film involving members of his species to convince him to masturbate again, this plan succeeds as he masturbates ignoring the religious effect it supposedly has.
Bob the Cucumber and Larry the Tomato find out about this and burst into the room, and try to convince Clara to put down the Clum Baby she tries to heal herself with. Foxxy then suggests the VeggieFables that they shouldn't use to the Bible as a strict set of rules, but instead as a guide to help people defy their relationships with God. Clara and Larry, who possess a Christian conservative viewpoint, suggest that may be plausible, while Bob has an angry outburst and ignores everything said. Bob then pulls out a gun and shoots Clara, Foxxy, Larry, and Spanky Ham, killing all of them, he sees Wooldoor run out of the door and tries to kill him as well. As he runs across the house chasing him, he goes on a killing spree, shooting all of the Housemates as well as others who were in the house. When he fronts Wooldoor, pointing a gun at his face, a Clum Baby squirms on top of his head and heals him, it is then revealed that Bob suffered from psychosis that caused him to believe in religion, and the Clum Baby healed him. However, he looks at all the deceased people he murdered and realizes the damage he's done, unable to live with this, he puts his gun in his mouth and pulls the trigger, committing suicide. With everyone in the house now dead, Wooldoor decides to masturbate alone.
Despite dying, he is later seen alive in the Season Three episode "Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable", where he is seen in court during the censorship case of The Happy Stupid Kid Show, along with the rest of the VeggieFables.
