Bomber the Great was a former general of the Machine Empire Baranoia and a major antagonist in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger, serving as the main antagonist of the third arc.
He is voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama who previously voiced Purse Priest and Boss Kamikaze in Gosei Sentai Dairanger and later voiced Kajimerian Ben G in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Hades Beastman Beserker King Glúm do Bridon in Mahou Sentai Magiranger, Generator Banki in Engine Sentai Go-Onger, the younger Sneak Brother from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, Yabiker from Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, Manta Bayarsh from Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger and Headwind World and Great Headwind World from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. However, he is best known as Viral from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho and Link in The Legend Of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time.

As with all members of the Machine Empire Baranoia, Bomber the Great was built by Emperor Bacchus Wrath and Empress Hysteria some 65 million years ago. As the court jester, Bomber helped them to devastate and conquer multiple planets. However, he quickly gained greater ambitions and tried to overthrow Bacchus to become the Baranoia's new Emperor. Bacchus Wrath easily defeated Bomber and wanted to execute him for treason but the jester was able to escape into exile. With their other conquests, Bacchus Wrath did not pursue the traitor.
Ohranger[]
Sixty five million years later, in 1995, Bacchus Wrath is killed by OhBlocker and Bomber the Great takes the chance to return to Earth and get control of the Baranoia Empire. Upon his introduction, Bomber handcuffs Buldont and puts him on a missile before sending him to Earth to take control of the Machine Empire. Bomber then encounters and easily defeats the Ohrangers before leaving Bara Mammoth to destroy them.
After Buldont later returns alive, Bomber invokes Article 2 of the Baranoia Constitution where heirs must be found within 100 years of Bacchus Wrath's death and he and Buldont have both made claims. He easily kills Buldont and sends away his remains in a rocket with Hysteria. Bomber then declares himself the the 1st, New Emperor of Baranoia with Acha and Kocha switching allegiances to him. However, shortly after the death of Bara Gold, Buldont (repaired and upgraded by the dying remains of Bacchus Wrath into Kaiser Buldont) returns with his cousin Multiwa and defeats Bomber the Great. They then reassemble the tortured Bomber and send him to Earth as a giant to kill the Ohrangers only for him to die at the hands of King Pyramidder Battle Formation's Super Legend Beam. Despite Bomber being brain-dead, Buldont reassembles him as a missile and fires him into the Sun to destroy all life on Earth. Fortunately, Gunmazin takes the missile and flings it safely away into deep space where it detonates harmlessly.

Bomber the Great was an extremely ambitious but treacherous creature willing to betray his superiors to advance his own goals.

- Durability: Bomber the Great survived Tackle Boy's Dynamite Tackle without a scratch.
- Non-Ageing: Due to being a robot, Bomber the Great was unable to age.
- Laser Vision: Bomber the Great could shoot pink energy lasers from his eyes.
- Missile Transformation: Bomber the Great could transform into missile mode for transport to his target.
- Flight: In his missile form, Bomber the Great could fly using the rocket booster on his back.
- Missile Ram: In his missile form, Bomber the Great could ram his enemies with enough force to instantly wipe out the five main Ohrangers.
- Flight: In his missile form, Bomber the Great could fly using the rocket booster on his back.
- Self-Growth: Bomber the Great could grow to giant size without apparent help from Acha and Kocha.

- Right Sword Gauntlet: After Buldont cut his right arm off, Bomber the Great had it replaced by a sword gauntlet with a face on his right arm.
- Lightning Blast: Bomber the Great could project blue lightning from his sword gauntlet.
- Left Missile Gauntlet: Bomber the Great had a missile-like gauntlet with a face in it on his left arm during his final battle that he could use as a club.
- Spark Blasts: Bomber the Great could fire sparks from his missile gauntlet which easily wiped out OnBlocker and heavily shook up King Pyramidder.
