Bone Cold is a minor antagonist in the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.
He is a member of No Respect, the main antagonistic force of the Burning Inner Strength Challenge arc.
Biography[]
Past[]
Bone Cold is the son of Kinkotsuman. During his childhood, Bone Cold would always face abuse from his father because of his constant defeats at the hands of Kinnikuman. Bone Cold's mother would eventually run away. At age eight, Bone Cold would run away, afraid of eventually being killed by his father.
Left on his own, Bone Cold would grow up to be an assassin, killing those with high bounties on their heads. He would meet Hanzo and Fork the Giant, the three agreeing that they should rule the planet Kinniku and forming No Respect.
No Respect would set their sights on taking over planet Kinniku, killing over 650 guards with Bone Cold only killing military officials with bounties on their heads. They would be stopped by Kinnikuman and be arrested and locked away.
Kinnikuman Nisei[]
Bone Cold, along with the rest of No Respect would be released from their cells by Kinnikuman under the condition that they would fight his son Mantaro Kinniku. If he beat them, they would be placed back under arrest but if they won, by any means they saw fit, they would be freed from their prison sentence and pardoned for all of their crimes.
Bone Cold would be sent to Okinawa where he would disguise himself as a human and wait for Mantaro to show up. During this time, Bone Cold would get into an exhibition match against Jyzo who he would easily beat, ripping his ears off before threatening to kill him due to all of the bounties and requests given to Bone Cold, bending Jyzo until he rip cage shot out of his body. Bone Cold would then turn to Mantaro and Minch, telling them that they were his next targets.
Just as Bone Cold was about to shoot Minch, Check Mate and Terry the Kid would stop him, but he would defeat both of them before grabbing Minch and using him as a hostage to lure Mantaro into their fight.
Mantaro and Bone Cold would fight with Meat helping Mantaro. Bone Cold would stop this by shooting at Minch, distracting Meat to prevent him from properly helping Mantaro. Eventually, Minch would pull a similar trick, saying that he knows Bone Cold's past, in response, Bone Cold would shoot Minch, killing him instantly before continuing to fight Mantaro.
Eventually, Kinkotsuman would show up to watch the fight, Bone Cold wanted to win the fight with his best skills to show off how strong he is to his abusive father but Mantaro would beat Bone Cold with the Muscle Millennium.
After the match was over, Kinkotsuman would run over to Bone Cold, hiring him to kill Kinkotsuman as forgiveness for his abuse, however, Bone Cold refuses. He doesn't forgive his father but Mantaro instilled the values of friendship. Bone Cold is then escorted back to jail by the authorities.
Bone Cold is never seen again after this point.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin, Bone Cold has superhuman strength, speed and durability. Other abilities that Chojin have that Bone Cold has is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
- Bone Cold Blade: Bone Cold is able to extend his arm and shoot it out like a gun. He uses this along with a blade to make a makeshift gun.
Trivia[]
- The 4kids dub tones down most of Bone Cold's past and actions. Turning him into a bounty hunter and instead of killing Minch, he only breaks his hip.
