Boris, also known as the KGB General, is one of the two main antagonists (alongside The Alien Prisoner) of Behemoth's first video game Alien Hominid, and a minor antagonist in its sequel Alien Hominid Invasion. He is a cruel Soviet-Russian general who wants to launch a missile at North America.

Appearance[]

He wears a red military uniform with an ushanka on his head. The design of his clothes are almost identical to other KGB agents, with the exception of it being more detailed. He is also a lot taller and wider than the other soviet agents, or in fact, any other human in the game.

Personality[]

Boris is a cruel, blood-thirsty, and sociopathic Russian general who wants to kill the alien invader at all costs, even if it's gonna cost all of his military technology and other gadgets. He seems to be really upset by the fact that Alien Hominid ruined his plan of Blowing up North America. He even kills one of his own men and then throws him at the Alien, showing that he clearly doesn't care about his soldiers. Boris is also shown to be very sadistic; grinning and, even sometimes laughing when attacking the invader.

Biography[]

Alien Hominid[]

After completing level 1-5, a cutscene starts playing that introduces us to Boris. He is shown to be in a laboratory trying to launch a giant missile at North America. However, Alien Hominid accidentally gets in the way, and the missile ends up landing on his ship instead. Later, KGB finds the ship and steals it.

During the following levels (2-1 through 2-4), Boris uses various different russian military machines and weapons to kill the Alien. He's also constantly threatening/making fun of him during those events.

The level 2-5 begins with Boris making a trial with seeds so that he can attract some hawks. His plan is to attract them in hopes that one of them will eat the Alien. Boris is then seen on an elevator next to the Alien's spaceship, which takes them to the top of a platform resembling the one in Donkey Kong. When the Alien reaches the top of the platform, Boris tries to kill him with the Alien's own ship. This leads to a boss fight between Boris and the Alien. Once Boris is defeated, a cutscene shows him ejecting from the Alien ship and launching a parachute to float down safely while laughing. A hawk catches him mid-air and drops him into a saw machine, resulting in Boris' presumed demise.

Alien Hominid Invasion[]

Boris returns as a cyborg in the sequel and allies with the Grand Mothership to conquer various planets. He only appears in the final cutscene of the game.

Trivia[]

  • Although the game takes place in 2004, the KGB is still portrayed as a functioning organization in the game, despite it having been dissolved in 1991.
