~ Bosnian Homer after eating a piece of Shrimp's head. |
Bosnian Homer (unofficial name) is a minor antagonist in Smiling Friends. He plays a minor role in the episodes "Shrimp's Odyssey" and "Pim Finally Turns Green," and briefly makes a cameo appearance in "Brother's Egg."
He is voiced by series' co-creator Michael Cusack, who also voices Grim, James, Rex, Mr. Frog, Ketchup, Witch Hand, Plump Demon, Jeremy, and the Skeleton Pirate Captain in the same series.
Appearance[]
He's a vibrant green, blobby humanoid creature with a plump, rounded body. His large eyes sit atop his head and have big, scribbled pupils, and he sports a bit of stubble around his mouth. He wears brown sandals and has a white towel with a blue stripe wrapped around his waist.
Personality[]
He often lacks intelligence and grace, completely disregarding the feelings of others and everything around him. This is evident in "Shrimp's Odyssey," where he casually ripped a piece off of Shrimp's head, ate it, and seemed to enjoy it before casually walking away. Additionally, he nearly killed Rotten the Snowman by knocking over his cooler at the beach, offering only a weak apology before walking away.
Despite this, he is not portrayed as intentionally malicious, although he is completely callous and moronic. He also appears to be quite gluttonous considering his rotund build and eating habits.
Biography[]
In "Shrimp's Odyssey," he approaches Shrimp at a tanning salon, casually rips a piece from Shrimp's cooked head, eats it, and then walks away, satisfied.
In "Brother's Egg," he briefly appears as a customer in The Flying Meepling.
In "Pim Finally Turns Green," he descends the steps at the beach carrying a tray of ice cream for his friends. He accidentally trips and knocks over Rotten's cooler, causing the snowman to melt, which would have killed him if Rotten hadn't eventually flowed into the ocean. He then weakly apologizes and walks away as if nothing happened.
Trivia[]
- His mannerisms, appearance and personality are a deliberate reference to Homer Simpson, the protagonist of The Simpsons.
