The Boss is the main antagonist of the 1998 direct-to-video animated film FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue.
He was voiced by Harry Joseph.
History
Like Mac, Boss is an evil poacher, but he describes himself as "the brains" and Mac as "the big dumb one who does all the dangerous stuff". They are first seen driving into the forest and kidnapping some animals to be smuggled.
Boss has a terrible fear of bugs. He is also very tense, cowardly, and pusillanimous when he and Mac meet the Captain, who was "promised a shipment of birds", and Boss talks his way out of trouble.
In the ensuing fight, Slasher and Boof attack Boss down to his underwear and he loses his grip on his ill gotten money, and Crysta uses fairy ropes to imprison Boss, Mac, and Captain in a tree, where they would be heard from no more. The last they are seen in the movie, is when Boss insists that they "hire a plane," at which point Captain finally plucks up the courage to tell him to shut up, and Mac complains that "things couldn't get any worse." Captain concludes that it was low tide, as water floods below them.
