The chef is the main antagonist of the film The Diamond Hand.
He was played by the late Nikolai Romanov.
Biography[]
The chief was the leader of a gang of smugglers. At the beginning of the film, his people smuggle gold coins from abroad, hide them in the ground for "laundering" and after a while, under the guise of a found treasure, hand them over to the state, receiving large sums of money. Next, the boss needed another smuggling from Turkey. To do this, he sends his man Gennady Kozodoev there. But something went wrong, and the contraband in plaster goes to Kozodoev's neighbor on the cruise, Gorbunkov. Then the Boss orders Kozodoev and his other man, Lyolik, to get a cast by all means. Kozodoev became closer friends with Gorbunkov, the Chef himself is in the restaurant next to Kozodoev and Gorbunkov, at a meeting with his colleagues, celebrates finding the treasure, one colleague asks him where he will give his reward, he will buy the newest Moskvich-408 car. But I still couldn't remove the cast. Then the Boss hires the fatal beauty Anna Sergeevna so that she seduces Gorbunkov and gets a cast. She takes Gorbunkov to a hotel room, gde strips down to a swimsuit, gives the latter sleeping pills and tries to seduce. But at the very last moment, the bra bursts. The manager and Gorbunkov's wife burst into the room and they arrest Anna. Later, Kozodoev and Lelik manage to almost catch Gorbunkov, but the latter escapes and asks the first person he sees to take him away by car, but this man was deliberately slowly repairing his car. Then Gorbunkov saw an expensive ring on his hand and realized that the Boss himself was in front of him. Lyolik and Kozodoev tie them both up and take the cast. Gorbunkov tells the Boss that there are no diamonds in the cast, then the latter hints to Gorbunkov that he needs to be killed as an unwanted witness. Bound Gorbunkov is put in the trunk, but he eventually escapes. A police helicopter grabs the car with the Chief, Kozodoev and Lyolik and takes them to prison.
