Botija (Keg) is a villain from the Mexican series El Chapulín Colorado, appearing in the episode Un Bandido Bastante Muerto (A Very Dead Bandit) and the short sketch before the episode.
He was portrayed by Édgar Vivar.
Biography[]
Botija is a fat gangster and a former member of Al Capone's band, being a huge fan of El Tripaseca and El Cuajináis. In the short sketch he disguises himself as a policeman and releases Tripaseca and Cuajináis from prison, after which they invite him to their gang.
In the episode the villains are aggregated in their hideout, where Tripaseca and Cuajináis are teaching Botija their secret knock-knock codes. When La Minina arrives they explain their plan to her to use a wax statue to fake Tripaseca's death and to call Chapulín to serve as a witness. However, Botija takes the statue outside to "take some sun", forcing Tripaseca to pretend he is dead while Botija pretends he is the medic who passed the death report. Chapulín, who had already seen the wax statue on his way to the hideout, just messes around with the villains the rest of the episode.
