The Box Assassin is the titular deuteragonist of the award-winning YouTube animated short film The Box Assassin, as well as the upcoming TV series.
He is a hitman/serial killer who takes an alias known as "The Box Assassin", where he sneaks himself into various objects, waiting for someone to open them in order to kill them. Nobody survived this however except for a pizza delivery boy named Craig, who witnessed him being in action.
He was voiced by Lou Lambert.
Biography[]
At the beginning of the video, Craig tells his friend about the Box Assassin, explaining that this guy appears everywhere in almost every kind of box: UPS boxes, mailboxes, boomboxes, and even birthday presents, all to eliminate various unsuspecting victims. Craig describes him as nothing but a pure killing machine. He then recounts the story in which he witnessed the Box Assassin in action while trying to deliver pizzas to a crime lord known as Mr. Jax.
The latter asks Craig who sent him, then instructs the two thugs to get rid of him. One of them tries to shoot Craig, but he gets shot by the pizza box. Surprisingly, it's the Box Assassin himself who jumps out of the box and kills them both. He proceeds to eliminate the rest. Craig rushes back to his car to escape, but Mr. Jax enters, warning him that if he doesn't comply, he will cut his throat. However, the Box Assassin appears inside the car's glove box and kills Mr. Jax. Craig then tells the assassin that he promises not to say anything, but the Box Assassin is actually revealed to be much nicer to those he isn't trying to kill. He gives Craig a large amount of cash before disappearing into thin air, showing that he isn't all bad apparently.
Personality[]
Not much is known about the Box Assassin other than that he is shown to be very strategic, being able to hide in various boxes in order to kill unsuspecting victims at any time. While he is very dangerous, he has a much softer side where he is nicer to those he isn't trying to kill, such as a pizza delivery boy named Craig, in which he hands him a large amount of cash before disappearing into thin air, making Craig seemingly change his mind about him.
