Brahma is a minor antagonist in the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok and a minor character in its manga spin-off Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Legend - Apocalypse of The Gods.

He is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Vishnu) of Shiva's Flashback during the Fifth Round and a supporting antagonist in the Fifth Round of the Ragnarok Tournament.

Vishnu is the Hindu God of Creation and, when the Hindu Pantheon was divided into clans, an ally of Vishnu with whom he lived together. After being defeated by Shiva and Rudra, Brahma became a member of the assembled Hindu Pantheon as Shiva's subordinate.

He is voiced by Yūji Murai, who has also voiced Jack Smith always in Record of Ragnarok and Baku in Edens Zero, in the Japanese dubbed version of the anime adaptation. He is voiced by Noshir Dalal in the English dub.

Appearance[]

Brahma is a God with the appearance of a bald, muscular individual, who adorns his body with blue beaded necklaces and bracelets. She has a pink lotus flower on his forehead, yellow eyebrows, a dark red skin complexion, and a stern expression on his face.

Personality[]

Brahma has a rather serious attitude most of the time, and always takes everything seriously. He seems to be a very good friend of Vishnu, and since Shiva became the new King of the Hindu Gods he always supports him. If needed, Brahma also supports other Hindu Gods, such as Indra during the Apocalypse Tournament. Brahma seems to be very observant during battles, noticing certain details that others do not.

Biography[]

Brahma is the Hindu God of Creation who, when the Hindu Pantheon was divided into clans, lived with Vishnu. One day Shiva and Rudra decide to try to climb to the summit of Svarga to make Rudra King of the Hindu Gods, and after defeating several Hindu Gods they end up facing Brahma and Vishnu as the final two Gods they must defeat. Shiva and Rudra, fighting a 2 vs 2, manage to get the better of Brahma and Vishnu and defeat them. In the end, Shiva defeats Rudra, who abandons the Svarga immediately after, and becomes the King of the Hindu Gods before all the other Hindu Gods including Brahma.

Millennia later, after the proclamation of the Ragnarok Tournament, Brahma participates in the meeting of the Gods' Council during which Zeus announces the Gods who will be the Gods Fighters who will fight in the Ragnarok Tournament representing the Gods. While many Gods complain about the absence of their name on the list, Sun Wukong points out that a God's name is missing from the list, and so Zeus announces the Apocalypse Tournament, during which 16 Gods would fight each other for the last place in the Gods Fighters and to establish a new law in the Constitution of Valhalla.

Brahma, together with the other Hindu Gods, sits on the stands to watch the matches of the Apocalypse Tournament, in which Indra also participates.

Some time after, during the Ragnarok Tournament, Brahma and the other Hindu Gods find Rudra in the stands of the arena during the Fifth Round and, together with him, witness the fight of their leader Shiva against Raiden Tameemon, seeing Shiva emerge victorious after having unleashed the Tandava Karma. At the end of the Fifth Round, Brahma and the other Hindu Gods reach Shiva in a state of disrepair in the corridors and, here, they see Shiva admit to Zeus that he now considers Humans fantastic.

While Shiva is hospitalized in the infirmary to repair the three arms cut during the Fifth Round and follows the other matches of the Ragnarok Tournament, Brahma and the other Hindu Gods go to visit him to make sure he is well.

Powers and Abilities[]

Overall Abilities: Brahma is one of the strongest Hindu Gods of all, although he is inferior to both Shiva and Rudra, having lost in a battle against them despite being supported by Vishnu. Even Indra, having been chosen for the Apocalypse Tournament, is superior to him. As a God, Brahma possesses physical abilities far greater than those of any ordinary Human. His body cannot be damaged by mortal weapons, however it can still be damaged by unarmed attacks by individuals with superhuman strength and by Divine Weapons. Furthermore, Brahma cannot die due to old age.
