The Braves are the titular antagonistic force in the comic book series Brave and it's animated adaptation. They are enlisted soldiers with a goal to prevent a fatal attack like the one that kickstarted the creation of the organization. While they may seem well-intentioned, from an outsider POV, they are ruthless and oppressive.
History[]
Creation of the Kingdom and the Braves[]
After the cannibalistic (also human) dragons species attacked the country the Brave Kingdom would be set in, a very powerful person attacked and fought off the dragons. This kickstarted a series of events with led to the creation of the Braves organization and Brave Kingdom. They would have a newfound goal to stop an attack like the one the dragons subjected the country to from ever happening again, although this did create a conflict between humanity and any other species which are victims of them.
Post-Kingdom/Braves Creation[]
The kingdom is under the control of the more humble Old King. It's unknown how long he ruled, but he was killed by a demon who blamed the King for the conflict. The War King took over and instigated the conflict between the Braves and the demons to worsen. The conflict worsened for an unknown amount of time, but at the end of the War King's rule, he was killed by a former Fair Brave who took on the role of Morewant just at the start of his rule.
Currently[]
The kingdom is currently under the rule of the Business King, who is focused on profitting from the neighboring demons.
