|~ Soap when seeing the Militia confronted Rojas' right-hand man|
The Brazilian Militia are a supporting antagonist faction in the 2009 video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and its 2020 remaster of the same name, mainly appearing in the missions "Takedown" and "The Hornet's Nest". They are military-armed criminals operating in Rio De Janeiro's favela and are in association with Alejandro Rojas.
The militia is first seen arriving at a hotel in Rio De Janeiro, hoping to capture Rojas' right-hand man. However, the assistant quickly killed them before shooting at another vehicle containing members of Task Force 141. After John "Soap" MacTavish and Simon "Ghost" Riley captured the assistant and began torturing him for Rojas' location, Gary "Roach" Sanderson, Meat and Royce headed into the favela to find him, engaging countless militia enforcers on the way.
