Breathtaker is the nickname of an unknown woman with the meta-human ability to manipulate and generate the air around her. She appears as a minor antagonist in season 5 of Supergirl.
Breathtaker obtained her aerokinetic powers at an unknown point in her life and used them to become a meta-human assassin. She eventually began working for Leviathan and carried out numerous assassinations for them across the country.
Battling Supergirl[]
One day Breathtaker was ordered to travel to Mexico City and kill a woman named Elena Torres, unaware that Torres had already been killed in a car crash. Breathtaker broke into Torres' apartment where she found Kara Danvers and blasted her through the window with her powers believing she was the intended target. Supergirl arrived seconds later much to the assassin's surprise and blew her own strong gust of air at Breathtaker who was able to counter the attack with her abilities. She then tired to suffocate the Kryptonian by drawing out all the air in the apartment, but Kara threw a table at Breathtaker rendering the meta unconscious.
Interrogation[]
Breathtaker was taken to D.E.O. headquarters in National City and placed in a holding cell. She was later interrogated by Alex Danvers about her possible connection to Andrea Rojas. The interrogation was witnessed by Kara and her colleague, William Dey the latter of whom lashed out at Breathtaker after she divulged information about an assassin called Rip Roar.
