Brendan Collins was a drug dealer who along with his brother Sean used four women as drug mules.

Background

Brendan was a small-time crook, who along with his brother, Sean Collins had a history of petty crimes such as assault and robbery. They sold drugs and some stolen items at a place called Underground Ink. At some point, Brendan and Sean saw an opportunity to sell product for more money, by convincing Sean's girlfriend Amber to swallow condoms that contained drugs and travel to Chicago constantly. After a successful trial, that led to great financial gain. The Collins brothers decided to get even more by getting Amber to convince some of her friends to be drug mules.

Thirty Balloons

At the beginning of the episode one of the condoms that Amber had swallowed broke, so the drug inside began to decompose, this caused Amber to enter a psychotic state, at some point a condom that Alicia swallowed also began to break down. break so they called Sean. Both Brendan and Sean knew they couldn't lose any more product, as Amber had just been arrested by the police. The two decided to procure the other girls, to cover their tracks.

Brendan and Sean went to Alicia's college, where they broke into her bedroom to kidnap her and the other girls. They also beat an assistant who tried to prevent the girls from being kidnapped. Brendan took the girls to an abandoned place that was where Sean and Brendan kept what they got from their robberies. In their Sean brutally gutted Megan Benson, one of the girls, but when gutting Megan, Sean destroyed almost all of the condoms.

After CPD Intelligence unit discover the brothers' identity, a manhunt is issued. On his way back to his brother in a van, the unit get the jump on Brendan who realizing they are onto runs, initiating a high-speed chase. Unfortunately, Brendan takes a wrong turn and wrecks his van, with his body stuck out halfway through the window. After examining him, Sgt. Voight confirmed his death. A search of the van reveals no drugs and no drug mules.

His uncle Gavin was later updated on his death and was devastated, declaring he'd have to console his grieving sister. He also refused to help CPD search for his other nephew. However, Sean was later arrested with acquaintances.
