His actor is unknown as he was not credited.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Jansen was an only child and had braces as a child, often leading to him being bullied. Jansen grew up to be a wealthy lawyer and was said to be a well-known ladies' man.
In his secret life, however, he was a pedophile who derived sadistic pleasure from beating, torturing, and raping young boys; he was also a member of a child sex trafficking ring. He would book tours of Latin American countries through a travel agency run by Anthony Damon, who would provide him with children to rape and video recordings of the abuse to relive the experience. On one occasion, he was joined by fellow pedophile Walt Massey, with whom he recorded a sex tape with a young boy.
Shortly before the events of the episode, Damon sells Jansen two boys from Guatemala named Ernesto and Jose. Jansen would keep them trapped in his apartment, where he would force them to see him as a parent, subject the boys to severe sexual abuse, and pass them off to other pedophiles whenever they thought to defy him, effectively scarring them mentally and physically.
"Angels"[]
Jansen calls Massey, a dentist, to treat Ernesto and Jose. However, Massey is outraged after seeing the bruises and sexual injuries the sadistic Jansen had inflicted upon the boys, and knocks him unconscious. Massey then surgically castrates Jansen before slitting his throat, making sure he suffered as much as possible. After the murder, he cleans himself up in the shower to get rid of any DNA and left. Meanwhile, Ernesto and Jose finally escape, unaware that Jansen is dead.
Detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler of the NYPD's Special Victims Unit investigate Jansen after Jose is found suffocated to death inside a bus, having hidden in the vehicle's luggage compartment after fleeing Jansen's house. They soon find Ernesto, who tells them what Jansen did to him and Jose, leading the police to search Jansen's job and apartment for evidence. After finding evidence of Jansen's crimes, Benson and Stabler go to his house to arrest him, only to find him dead and castrated.
Medical examiner Melinda Warner later reveals that the killer had medical knowledge, so they begin looking for a doctor. Benson, Stabler, and Detectives John Munch and Fin Tutuola unravel Damon's trafficking ring and arrest him and Lynch, but both are cleared of the murder because they have alibis. The SVU team finds the tape Jansen made of himself and another man raping a boy, but they note that the only thing visible about the second rapist is a tattoo on his forearm.
As no one they arrested from the pedophile ring has such a tattoo, the detectives start looking into Jansen and Lynch's other associates and find that Massey had treated Ernesto and Jose. They begin to suspect him after realizing that a dentist would have the anatomical knowledge and medical experience necessary to surgically remove Jansen's testicles. They question Massey's family, discovering in the process that he is molesting his stepson.
Benson arrests Massey and Stabler interrogates was brought in and was discovered with the same tattoo by Stabler, a panicked Massey says that Jansen ruined it for everyone and that he had to stop his abuse. Massey is later executed for Jansen's murder.
