Brave General Bridy is the second-in-command of the Neros Empire's Monster Army and a major antagonist in Choujinki Metalder.
He is voiced by Takeshi Watabe, who also voiced God Neros in the same show as well as Don Horror in Space Sheriff Gavan and Emperor Gaohm in Juukou B-Fighter.
Biography[]
Bridy was one of the warriors sent after Top Gunder when the former Violent Spirit defected from the Neros Empire after being marked for execution.
As the Monster Army suffered continued losses against Metalder and fell out of failure with God Neros, Bridy accompanied Geludoling and Zakembor on a mission to claim a flower known as the "Century's Beauty", which Coolgin had told them about. Despite losing Damnen, Bridy and Geludoling were able to make it to the flower, which Geludoling consumed to amplify his powers. Geludoling then battled Metalder but was destroyed after he negated the effects of the flower by knocking him into the water, leaving Bridy as the sole surviving member of the Monster Army.
Having outlived his leader, Bridy would later be sent to fight Metalder one last time. He was initially able to gain the advantage over Metalder with his spider parasite, but Metalder was able to figure out his weakness and destroyed the parasite, killing him and causing him to dissolve into slime. Bridy's death marked the end of the Monster Army until Geludoling was brought back one more time to battle against Metalder.
