|~ Brom Titus to Rex.|
Brom Titus is a recurring antagonist in Star Wars Rebels, appearing as a minor antagonist in Seasons 2, 3, and 4. He was an admiral, later commander, of an Imperial Interdictor, until the ship was blown up by a group of rebels. He was then demoted of his rank, and sent to a scrap yard to watch numerous Y-Wings be incinerated. He kept that job until the same group of rebels destroyed the scrap yard and stole all the Y-Wings. He then worked up his ranks more and eventually piloted the Marauder, until the same group of rebels yet again destroyed his ship, although he was less lucky the third time, and died in the ensuing explosion.
He was voiced by Derek Partridge.
Piloting the Imperial Interdictor
During 4 BBY, around the time a rebel movement broke out around the galaxy, Admiral Brom Titus piloted the Imperial Interdictor, using it in an Imperial test zone by the Galactic Empire. Little did he know, Commander Jun Sato and Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger were cruising through the system. However, Brom Titus found out, and used a tractor beam on the ship. Once onboard, Titus then identified both individuals and set them in some cells.
After not hearing word from them, Jedi Master Kanan Jarus, Captain Rex, and C1-10P "Chopper" the went on a rescue mission to retrieve the two, disguised as stormtroopers. They then snuck onto the ship and rescued Sato and Bridger, but Rex was caught in the action after staying behind to destroy some Stormtroopers. Titus then tried to agree with the clone, but Rex refused. So, Titus then decided to interrogate the captain.
Just before interrogation began, Kanan Jarus, still in disguise, shot the interrogation droid and fled with Rex on a escape pod with Sato, Bridger, and Chopper. Brom Titus, who was working on a gravity project in the Imperial test zone, then commanded everyone to power up the gravity well projectors to destroy the ship, but Bridger and Chopper rigged it while Jarus was freeing Rex. This then caused the Imperial Interdictor to explode. Luckily, Brom Titus barely managed to get in an escape pod before the ships destruction and informed Agent Kallus on his failure.
Another Failure at Reklam Station
Two years later in 2 BBY, due to his previous failure, Admiral Brom Titus was stripped from his rank of Admiral and switched to Commander, making him Commander Brom Titus. He then was set with a much easier job, scrapping old Y-Wings used from the Rebel Alliance. However, one day at Reklam Station, rebels Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios, along with smuggler Hondo Ohnaka, were sent on a mission to retrieve the Y-Wings for more incoming rebels.
Once at the station, Orrelios and Wren were having problems with retrieving the Y-Wings in time and needed Bridger to shut down the scrapping process. So, Bridger then went into the bay where Titus and his Imperial Officers were stationed. Bridger then started destroying numerous machinery and tossed Titus aside. Brom Titus questioned if Bridger was going to kill him, but Bridger said he already had enough problems to deal with after realizing that the station was going to collapse. Bridger spared Titus as he ran out of the bay and possibly to an escape pod while Bridger, Wren, Orrelios, and Ohnaka retrieved the Y-Wings and barely escaped.
Later on in the same year, Commander Brom Titus, along with Captain Brunson and Captain Slavin, were invited on the Chimaera by Grand Admiral Thrawn to figure out the rebel spy amongst them.
Demise on Jalindi
During 1 BBY, Commander Brom Titus worked his way up the ranks and ended up getting a job as a commander for piloting the Marauder. While onto his mission to Jalindi Station, another mission was in progress by Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Chopper to hack into the relay so the Rebel Alliance could know what was being transmitted through the station. After being detected by Titus after Bridger mistook him for someone else, Brom Titus then contacted the commander of the real station to notify him on what was happening on his station. The commander then sent out Stormtroopers to deal with the rebels while Titus slowly took the Marauder in.
Brom Titus, who was paying more attention to Bridger and Wren, didn't realize that Chopper was still inside the relay of the station. This allowed Chopper to tilt the station, causing some Stormtroopers to fall off it. Just as Brom Titus was about to go in, another ship, piloted by Saw Gerrera, shot down his deflector shields. As the ship flew on the side of the station, Brom Titus then commanded that the Marauder shoot down the ship. Gerrera, not realizing Brom Titus, tossed down several proton bombs into the station while Bridger, Wren, and Chopper flew into the ship.
Gerrera then fled from the scene as the proton bombs activated. This caused the whole station to blow up, but since Brom Titus went into range to chase Saw, the explosion then hit his ship, causing the Marauder to blow up and kill Brom Titus, along with the rest of the crew.
