Biography[]
Early life[]
Bronson was working on a radio tower near Smallville when the second meteor shower occurred transforming him into a metahuman. He survived the encounter but the meteor rocks gave him the ability to alter his molecular frequency and shift into different planes of reality.
When his abilities were discovered, he was taken to Belle Reve following the event, but was later transferred to LuthorCorp's 33.1 laboratory where his powers were tested and experimented on.
Static[]
Bronson managed to escape and made his way to the Luthor Mansion in Smallville where he set off an alarm before capturing Lex Luthor by placing him inside an alternate-frequency plane. While inside this world, Lex could see and hear Lana Lang but couldn't speak to her. She couldn't see or hear him either and when Lana left, Lex was confronted by Bronson, who said he was a former patient from Level 33.1 who had escaped.
He told Lex that he has the ability to manipulate frequencies and sent Lex to another frequency as revenge for being experimented on. Lana did her own investigation into Lex's disappearance with help from Chloe Sullivan and Jimmy Olsen when she received a call from Bronson. He tells her that she'll believe him once he shows her the lab. Bronson took Lana to Level 33.1, but found an empty warehouse instead. He was upset that someone (Lionel Luthor) cleared it all out.
When Lana returned to the mansion library, she poured her heart out to Lex, revealing she's pregnant with his child when Bronson appeared behind her and he transported her to the frequency where Lex was. Lana and Lex were reunited and at the same time, Chloe and Jimmy Olsen took antique radio equipment from the library to try to tune into their frequency and brought it to the mansion.
Bronson knocked Lana out and fought Lex, who denied clearing out the laboratory. Trying to force Lex to make him tell what happened to the lab, he threatened to kill Lana. He made an attempt to kill him with a knife, only to have himself get stabbed by Lex in the process.
