Bronson was a metahuman with the ability to travel to different frequencies of reality in the WB Television series Smallville.
He appeared as the secondary antagonist in the Sixth Season episode "Static".
Bronson was working on a radio tower near Smallville when the second meteor shower occurred transforming him into a metahuman. He survived the encounter but the meteor rocks gave him the ability to alter his molecular frequency and shift into different planes of reality. He was taken to Belle Reve following the event, but was later transferred to LuthorCorp's 33.1 laboratory where his powers were tested.
Bronson managed to escape and made his way to the Luthor Mansion in Smallville where he captured Lex Luthor by placing him inside an alternate-frequency plane. While inside this world, Lex could see Lana and can hear her but couldn't speak to her. When she left, Lex was confronted by Bronson, a patient in Level 33.1 who had escaped.
He tells Lex that he has the ability to manipulate frequencies and has sent Lex to another frequency in revenge for being experimented on. Lana did her own investigation into Lex's disappearance with help from Chloe and Jimmy Olson when she received a call from Bronson. He tells her that she will believe him when he shows her the lab. Bronson took Lana to Level 33.1, but it was an empty warehouse. He got upset that someone (Lionel Luthor) cleared it all out.
When Lana returned to the mansion library, she poured her heart out to Lex when Bronson appeared and they were transported to the frequency where Lex was. Lana and Lex were reunited and at the same time, Chloe and Jimmy took the antique radio equipment to the library to try to tune into the frequency. Bronson knocked Lana out and fights with Lex, who denies clearing out the laboratory. Trying to force Lex to make him tell what happened to the lab, he threatened to kill Lana. He made an attempt to kill him, only to have himself get stabbed by Lex in the process.
