Brontes is a major antagonist in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia. He is the Bakugan of Volt Luster. He is a clown-like Bakugan that has great speed and magical abilities.

Personality

Unlike Volt, Bronties has no respect for his foes and likes to insult them. He believes he will always win due to his power, which isn't always the case. Brontes also is a sore loser, and lies to spout random bits of poetry to annoy his master.

Biography

Brontes first appeared battling Ingram and Percival in Alpha City alongside Altair. Brontes battles Percival attacking him with his Darkus powers. Percival uses his own Darkus power and beats Brontes, causing the controller to explode.

Brontes later battles Elfin in the desert and becomes Dynamo Brontes by combing with Dynamo, beating her in this fight.

When the Brawlers infiltrated Gamma City, Brontes faced Nemus to prevent him from going any further. Despite him beating Nemus in the first round and becoming Dynamo Brontes in the second round, he loses the fight.

Brontis later watches Spectra Phantom and Helios battle Dan and Drago, saying he likes their style. Mylene Farrow then throws him and Elico away, much to Volt's anger. Brontes and Elico are then met by Gus Grav and Vulcan, who tells Gus about how their owners betrayed them. The three Bakugan then help Spectra get out of Prince Hydron's palace before it blows up.

He is then shown on Spectra's ship having evolved into Alto Brontes along with Elico and Vulcan. Gus shows Volt Brontis evolved form, saying how he doesn't have a soul.

Angered, Volt later challenges Gus to win Brontes back. Brontes fights Boriates, Volt's new Bakugan. Gus then sends out Hexados to assist Brontes, but the Bakugan gets beaten easily. Eventually, Brontes wins the fight though its new power, causing Volt to pass out. Gus sends Brontes to New Vestroia, saying how he doesn't need him anymore.

Trivia

For unknown reasons, he is not shown when Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor attack New Vestroia, even though he lives there now.
