Bronto (full name: Brontosaurus) is a recurring character in the Horacio's World stories, part of the Monica and Friends comics. As his name suggests he is a brontosaurus friend of Horacio, although he usually plays a neutral role in one of the stories published in the 70s (and notably republished in the first issue of Clássicos do Cinema series together with Horacic Park) he acts as an antagonist deceiving and betraying his own friend to try to find the Napãos' valley and devour them.
Villainous Role[]
As mentioned Bronto has a villainous role in an unnamed Horacio's World story (titled simply Horácio) published in some time during the 70s. In this story, Bronto decides to become a carnivorous dinosaur after being tired of only eating plants for so long. Knowing that his friend Horacio was friends with a race of creatures known as Napãos, who had previously been guided by Horacio to a safe place away from predatory dinosaurs, he decides to trick Horacio by making him show him where the Napãos lived so he can eat them.
Until his arrival in the valley, Bronto pretends to Horacio that he is only interested in going there to meet them, but after the Napãos begin to faint in fear upon seeing him, Bronto begins to slowly reveal himself to be thirsty and hungry and interested in devouring them in front of Horacio until he reaches a point where he makes it clear that he wants to eat them after meeting with the Queen Napão.
While the Napãos try to hide in the caves, Horacio tries to come up with a plan to stop Bronto, but in the end Bronto gives up on his plan to devour the Napãos when he becomes disgusted upon learning that they do not wash his feet and leaves the valley.
