Bronzlow
Bronzlow is the younger brother of Kin and Gin and one of the major antagonists of Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters and a supporting antagonist in Yo-kai Watch: The Movie. He is voiced by Paul Greene, the same person who had voiced Manjimutt in the same franchise.
Appearance & Personality[]
Bronzlow has an appearance like that of an old man with bronze clothes, bronze hairdo, and bronze head crystal. The overwhelming amount of bronze in his appearance is potentially to symbolize the fact that he is the youngest of the time siblings. As his Psychic Specters battle implies, while he is quite powerful, able to utilize each of the game's strongest AoE elemental attacks, he is also extremely clumsy, as shown in some of his attacks where he makes the entire party itchy just by blowing a bubble of spit and would rarely trip on his back and do nothing for a few turns when trying to perform a powerful AoE magic attack. He is also the stupidest of the three siblings, mistaking a Pause Stone for a Time Stone when they were at the brink of losing in their final battle, causing the three siblings to be eternally frozen in time in the Infinite Inferno's depths, a contrast to his IQ in the movie version where he is smart enough to construct a time machine that allows the siblings to rewind time constantly so that they can make it so that Dame Dedtime could never be hit by Nathaniel.
Biography[]
Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters[]
Bronzlow first appears in the post-game in Psychic Specters, serving as a major post-game antagonist and one of the three overarching antagonists to the Whisper's Secret side quests. He uses a Time Stone to revive Kin and Gin, who had been defeated by Nathaniel and his team of Classic Yo-kai at the time and begins conspiring with the siblings to free Dame Dedtime from prison, a plan that involved the removal of Nate's Yo-kai "butler", Whisper, which failed miserably due to Whisper's powers accidentally possessing his former master, Shogun Waitington, and causing him to lead the charge to battle that took away his life.
He wouldn't appear again until later in the climax in the post-game side quest Tamer Of Time, where he serves as one of the game's optional post-game superbosses, accompanied by a heavily buffed version of Kin and Gin. He was defeated afterwards, and in a last ditch attempt to ensure the succession of their plans, he intended to pull out a Time Stone and restore their health, only to pull out a Pause Stone and froze both him and his siblings in time eternally in the depths of the Infinite Inferno.
Yo-kai Watch: The Movie[]
In contrast to his game counterpart, his movie version is not a stupid klutz and is instead smart enough to build the time machine that would've made Dame Dedtime unstoppable and is also extremely silent. He would inevitably meet his demise when he was sliced up by Shogunyan alongside his lovestruck siblings, never to be seen again.
Powers and Abilities[]
Despite what his age and knowledge might suggest, Bronzlow is actually the most powerful and durable of the three siblings, with the ability to perform every AoE elemental attack in the game as well as being able to grant various debuffs to the enemy simply by being a dumbass klutz. He is also able to handle a Time Stone as well as his elder sisters, however, ironically, despite being the youngest sibling, he is much more senile than his older sisters, unable to tell the difference between a Pause Stone and Time Stone before it's too late.
