Brother Akram is one of the two targets (alongside Craig Black) and the secondary antagonist in mission The Author, the second mission in HITMAN: Patient Zero. He is a member of Liberation who is tasked with bringing Oybek Nabazov's virus to Black.
Akram's background is unclear. His name indicates Central-Asian heritage, andis profile is largely guesswork and conjecture, his traveling suggests a degree of tradecraft, and his correspondence suggests a long history with Nabazov pre-dating Liberation's founding, but nothing conclusive.
Akram was on the move for several weeks before the kill-switch was triggered after Nabazov and Sister Yulduz's demise, indicating an alarming degree of trade-craft. He then traveled to Sapienza to meet with author Craig Black, and hand over the virus to him.
He planned to meet Black in Sapienza, Italy, where Agent 47 soon arrived to eliminate them both and retrieve Akram's viral sample.
- He is one of the few targets in HITMAN™ that 47 can disguise as.
- In a list of HITMAN (2016)'s leaked elusive targets posted on Reddit, there is an unreleased elusive target called The Operative: Mi Cha Sun. Since Diana Burnwood called Brother Akram the cult operative, Mi Cha Sun might be the first prototype of Brother Akram.
- He first appeared in "The Source" as one of Nabazov's bodyguards. This makes him the first target in the franchise, who could be killed in another mission not long after posing as a non-target in its first mission.
