Bruce Irvin is a minor antagonist in the 1998 OVA anime film, Tekken: The Motion Picture. He is a former kick-boxer who was hired by Lee Chaolan as one of his bodyguards.
He was voiced by Seiji Sasaki in the Japanese dub and by Peter Harrell Jr. in the English dub.
Biography[]
Prior to the film, Bruce was a world champion of kick-boxing before retiring and becoming a bodyguard for the Mishima family.
One day before the tournament, Jun and Lei head towards the boat, they see Jack-2 and Jane trying to get on the boat but are stopped by Lee's guards, who were defeated by Jun and Lei. Lee sees Jack-2 and has one of his bodyguards Bruce Irvin to fight the latter and participate in the King of the Iron Fist Tournament if he wins. Lei recognizes the former world champion kick boxer and never thought to see him as a bodyguard for the Mishimas.
Before the fight begins, Bruce taunts Jack and runs towards him and dodges Jack's hit and punches him in the stomach. However, due to Jack's steel alloy, Bruce breaks his hand and shocked to what Jack is before being punched into the water by the android, presumably killing him in the process.
Personality[]
Being the former world champion, Bruce was shown to be very arrogant during his fight with Jack, which he overconfident and underestimated his opponent and leading his defeat and possible death.
Appearance[]
Like in the games, he is a tall muscular African-American, black hair styled mohawk and goatee beard. He wears a dark teal tank top and khakis with a black belt and black shoes. He also has white wrapping around his hands.
