Bruce and Brucey are the minor antagonist of the television series, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!
They are poachers hired by Dr. Phibes to hunt wild animals and steal all the resources from rainforest to help him get immortality.
Bruce is voiced by John Dimaggio and Brucey is voiced by Frank Welker.
Biography[]
Don't Feed the Animals[]
They were first seen kidnapping animals especially marmosets and the scientist Dr. Minkey on a documentary video. This caught the attention of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo as they deduced that they are working for Dr. Phibes and his plan to acquire immortality. When Shaggy and Scooby-Doo went in the rainforest, this alerted Dr. Phibes, and he ordered Bruce and Brucey to hunt down the intruders and their rewards will be what is left of the bounty of the intruders and all the junk food that they can have to which they agreed.
While Bruce and Brucey were tracking the intruders, they had several mishaps like being hit by a jet, being harassed by these five marmosets, encountering a giant spider, and fall in a mud pit and mudslide. They report to Dr. Phibes about the identity of the intruders based the information on dog tracks and eating junk food. Dr. Phibes ordered to bring them alive so the scientist and personally deal with them for foiling his plan.
Bruce and Brucey managed to capture Shaggy and Scooby with one of their traps, and they bring them to Dr. Phibes. Just as Dr. Phibes was ready to feed Shaggy and Scooby-Doo to a hungry leopard, they all encountered five marmosets that ate the superpowered Scooby Snack. The marmosets managed to overpower them and freed Shaggy and Scooby-Doo allowing them to free all the animals and Dr. Minkey and leave Dr. Phibes bound in a chair in the temple lair with all the bulldozers targeting Dr. Phibes thus foiling Dr. Phibes' plan.
Pole to Pole[]
They appeared in non-speaking cameo as participants of the "Polar Bear 3000" race. It is unknown if they were hired by Dr. Phibes to participate as Agent 1 and 2 were the one racing with the EMP bomb in their possession to destroy all electricity on Earth.
