~ Brucie Kibbutz's most famous quote. |
Bruce Motivation "Brucie" Kibbutz (born 1977) (Hebrew: ברוס מוטיבציה קיבוץ) is a main character in the Grand Theft Auto series.
He is a major character in Grand Theft Auto IV, a supporting character in The Ballad of Gay Tony and Grand Theft Auto Online and a minor character in The Lost and Damned, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and Grand Theft Auto V.
He was voiced by Timothy Adams.
Personality[]
On the outside, Brucie presents himself as a strong lady's man, who has sex with women constantly and is extremely strong. He is always seen exercising during his missions and comments about his sex life with Niko during the mission, "No. 1". Not to mention, Brucie is rude to anyone he deems "weak" or "boring".
Despite this, Brucie is very insecure and has a very weak ego, with his brother, Mori taking full advantage of this, bullying him during their childhood and even when they are both grown adults. Brucie also seems to feel insecure about his sexuality, constantly denying him being anything other then being straight, despite there being several things implying him being otherwise.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Bruce Kibbutz was born on 1977 in the Midwest. According to Brucie, he was a "fat loser" and that "no girl would want to date me" when he was younger. Throughout his missions, it seems as though Brucie is in fact a closeted bisexual as he constantly denies him being gay despite commenting on male body parts and attempting to kiss Luis Lopez.
Throughout The Ballad of Gay Tony, Brucie is taunted and bullied by his younger brother, Mori, despite being adults when they both meet Luis. This reveals that Brucie had several insecurities when he was younger, mostly because of him being bullied by Mori. Eventually, Brucie and Mori moved to East Hook in Broker, becoming entrepreneurs, getting tattoos, using steroids and exercising constantly.
Grand Theft Auto IV & Episodes from Liberty City[]
In 2008, Bruice befriended fellow entrepreneur, Roman Bellic, who introduced Brucie to his cousin, Niko, who Brucie hired for several jobs including doing drag races, killing Lyle Rivas, killing Lyle's cousin, Tom, and stealing cars. While this happens, Brucie is once again bullied by his brother, Mori in front of his associate, Luis Lopez.
After doing these jobs, Niko can either do more jobs for Brucie or just hang out with him. And while this happens, he breaks his brother's nose, while accidentally, but grows confidence from this and even tries to kiss Luis, but denies doing it. Eventually, Brucie attends Roman and Mallorie's wedding, where he only calls Niko if he chooses the "Deal" ending.
Grand Theft Auto V & Online[]
Around 2013, Brucie moved to Los Santos, San Andreas, changed his legal name from Bruce Kibbutz to Bruce Motivation Kibbutz and became a spokesman for Bull Shark Testosterone. Six years later, Brucie became a personal masseuse for the owner of The Diamond Casino & Resort, Tao Cheng. Eventually, Brucie takes part in the war against Avery Duggan that Tao had started between them. Later, Brucie helps the GTA Online Protagonist during The Diamond Casino Heist. And after, he meets Sessanta during the Los Santos Tuners.
