Bruno "Ugly" Mannheim is a mobster who gained ownership of the Ace of Clubs after he killed its previous owner, Ron Milano.
He was portrayed by Dominic Zamprogna, who also played Beau in Supernatural.
Biography[]
Season 8[]
Bruno was an enforcer for the mob and Ace of Clubs owner Ron Milano. Using Kryptonite, Milano made counterfeit money. For some unknown reason, he mugged Chloe Sullivan with his partner A.J., stealing Chloe's bag after getting a whack from Lois Lane before leaving in his car.
After that, Bruno went to the Ace of Clubs to have a drink, where Jimmy Olsen, who was working there as a bartender, asked to get an advance on his pay from Milano. Ricky then came to get Bruno because Milano wanted to see him. Mannheim told Olsen he'd see what he can do about the money.
When he arrived, Milano said that they were going legit and mocked Bruno for the mugging, Bruno shot him dead with a silencer in the backroom of the Ace of Clubs. He then took over the entire business and told his men that they were first going to get rid of the costumed heroes, starting with Stiletto.
When Jimmy came back to work late holding his camera, Bruno took it off him and recognized the photos of Chloe and Lois as Stiletto, they then knocked Jimmy out, and when he woke up, they beat him to get information.
While this is happening, Bruno was in the backroom seeing through the counterfeit money when Clark Kent got inside with super speed. Unfortunately for Clark, Kryptonite was being used in the counterfeit money, which made Clark weak enough that Bruno was able to see and punched him down. Mannheim was able beat him up like a human being.
Bruno savagely kicked Clark repeatedly asking who he was and what he was doing there. He continued to beat Clark with Ricky telling Mannheim to ease up. Lois, as Stiletto, jumped down through a skylight and knocked Clark away in time. As Bruno went to shoot her, Clark jumped in front of Lois blocking her from danger, taking the bullet. Jimmy joined the fight and beat Bruno down with a punch.
Season 11[]
Bruno was now the head of Intergang and serving a sentence at Stryker's Island. He had a book about Crime which he said was given to him by Gordon Godfrey, one of the Followers of Darkseid, that supposedly changed his ways.
Mannheim was then interrogated by Batman who wanted to know the location of Joe Chill's safe house. Later, he is Interrogated by Superman as well, who takes him in the air and scares him in order to gain information about Chill's involvement with Intergang.
