Brute Brutal is a recurring villain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. He is the sidekick of Master XOX. As his name suggests, Brute Brutal is a buff and brutish henchman, who helps Master XOX carry out his evil plans. Like how XOX is the archenemy of Maxum Man, Brute is the archenemy of Maxum Man's sidekick, Golly Gee Kid.

Biography

Brute Brutal made his debut in "Days of Golly", where he broke into Sidekick Academy to fight with his old-time rival, Golly Gee Kid from the olden days. During their fight, Golly Gee Kid would just run around in terror like a defenseless coward, while Brute would smash the ground and walls in an attempt to destroy him. Eric witnessed the madness and had Maxum Brain contact XOX to come on down and handle the sitation. By the time Brute finally caught Golly Gee Kid, he boasted about how he was going to suffer the wrath of the greatest supervillain ever. Just then, Master XOX entered and used his tractor beam to stop Brute in his tracks and scold him for doing villainous deeds out of turn. Brute apologized for acting independently from his superior and sent him back to his lab.

In "Crudburger", Brute Brutal was involved with XOX's commercial for the Crudburger restaurant on the evil side of town. In the commercial, he ate his hand. When Eric and Trevor finally made it to Crudburger, Brute Brutal was their server, who gave them their long sought-after crudburgers. He also offered to super-mutate the burger for an extra 75 cents.

In "Internal Affairs", Brute had kidnapped the lunchlady and taken her place at Sidekick Academy. He fed some cafeteria food to Eric, which secretly contained the shrunken submarine with XOX inside of it, so that he could control Eric from the inside.

In "Virtual Mayhem", Brute helped XOX with his plans to design a video game that would control robots in the real world to help him steal stuff but he didn't get any of the credit he deserved for his contributions. After XOX's plans fell apart around him, he demanded Brute clean up the mess he made.

In "Henchman for a Day", Brute made a non-speaking cameo, pooping in the toilet at Master XOX's Henchman Vocational School.

Appearance

Brute Brutal is a large, muscular humanoid with teal skin. He has a lucha libre-style fashion, complete with a big navy blue zip-on wrestling mask with a broom on his head and a spiky skull belt.

Personality

Brute Brutal, as his name suggests, makes his brutality his driving personality trait. He enjoys smashing things, breaking everything in sight, and crushing people's heads between their thighs. He always talks in third person and is a dim-witted subservient goon, who works for Master XOX. Unfortunately for Brute, he is not in control of his own decisions and has to answer to XOX and do as his commander says, whether it's a good idea or not.
