Bubble Crab (Bubbly Crablos in Japan) is one of the eight Maverick bosses from Mega Man X2.
Personality[]
Bubble Crab is a greedy Maverick who only wanted to get rich. He never cared about protecting the innocent as a Maverick Hunter as he easily cared more about amassing great wealth by joining the rebellion for quick cash. He shows animosity over Wheel Gator who was his coworker in the Maverick Hunter's Naval Unit.
Biography[]
Bubble Crab was a Maverick Hunter working under the 6th Naval Unit along Wheel Gator, though the two often argued among themselves. He was always very greedy, seeking to become rich at all costs, so when Sigma started his rebellion, Bubble Crab immediately joined him, seeing this as a great opportunity to get all the money and treasure he wanted. He was tasked with defending the Mavericks deep-sea base and given control of the Sea Canthler marine vessel.
Bubble Crab will control the water level of his arena, which affects some of his moves. He will encase himself in a bubble and jump around, shooting a bubble ring or small crab bots. Whenever the player is above Bubble Crab, he will extend his laser claws and jump to hit the player. His weakness is the Spin Wheel, which pops his shield bubble and nullifies most of his attacks.
