Bubbler is the third boss in Diddy Kong Racing and the second boss in Diddy Kong Racing DS. He is the guardian of Sherbet Island but is turned evil when he is brainwashed by Wizpig.
Bubbler challenges the player to a three-lap race around his lagoon. The player can only attempt this race with the hovercraft. During the race, Bubbler will leave behind mines to hinder the player. He also cheats by starting the race before the countdown is finished, giving him an early advantage. The race is made more difficult by the ocean waves and small islands which serve as obstacles.
During his rematch, after the player has won all silver coin challenges in his domain, Bubbler's speed increases and he leaves behind bubbles instead of mines.
