Buck is one of the three main antagonists (alongside Popy and Harchi) of the 2010 cartoon series Oscar's Oasis. He is a vulture who is a member of a trio of misfits who engage in thievery.

He was voiced by Sly Johnson, who also voiced Harchi.

Personality[]

Buck is essentially the logician of the trio and comes up with new solutions. During his raids with his companions, he is occasionally seen flying as a means of observing their surroundings and sometimes flies for the purposes of transporting Popy. However, he also seems to have a fear of flying, which is why he often falls off a cliff with his comrades.

Unlike Popy, he does not have a personal animosity towards Oscar, as he is only hostile to the lizard when he catches him trying to steal one of their items. During Popy's conflicts with Harchi, Buck is generally passive and approving of it, as he also gets annoyed with Harchi's antics. Sometimes, Buck will defy his loyalty to his friends, such as when he defended a vulture chick from being devoured by Popy and Harchi and will often rebel against Popy if she goes to far with her greedy desires.

Appearance[]

Buck is a vulture who has red feathers with white tips at the end of his biceps, along with a white underbelly and a feathered collar around his neck. His skin is also an orangish tan and he has a red beak and sky blue eyes.
