Bucky Butler is a minor antagonist in the video game LEGO City Undercover. He is a criminal who Chase McCain had locked up two years before the events of the game. He eventually escaped and attempted to join Chan Chuang's gang, but was caught by Chase once more.
Chase McCain arrested Bucky Butler in the first year of his work as a police officer. Eventually, however, Butler left prison.
LEGO City Undercover[]
Bucky Butler planned to join Chan Chuang's criminal gang. On his way, he stole a painting from the arts gallery and claimed that it was a copy that he bought. Chase, who had gone undercover and also planned to join Chan's gang, overheard Bucky and tried to intercept him. After recognizing Chase, Bucky tried to escape in his car, but was chased down and arrested by the officer. He pointed out that Chase couldn't arrest him for attempting to join a gang, as it wasn't considered a crime, but then admitted that he did in fact steal a painting and could be arrested for that.
Bucky escaped jail somehow, and met with Rex Fury's goons in their base. He revealed to them that Chase was an undercover cop, forcing him to flee. Whar happened to Bulter afterwards is unknown.
Trivia[]
Despite his arrest by Chase two years ago being an important plot point, none of the crooks Chase encounters in the prequel game, The Chase Begins, are identified as Bucky Butler, leaving it unknown if he appeared at all or if Chase fought and arrested him off-screen.
