Buffalo Belzer is the overarching antagonist of the 2022 Netflix stop-motion adult animated horror comedy film Wendell & Wild, based on an unpublished book of the same name written by Henry Selick and Clay McLeod Chapman.
He was voiced by Ving Rhames, who also portrayed Marsellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction, Nathan "Diamond Dogs" Jones in Con Air, James Allen in Animal and Thaddeus in The Star.
Biography[]
A devil, Buffalo Belzer is. He is the overlord of the underworld and the father of Wendell and Wild. He is big, and on his belly is a terrifying theme park. He approaches the human world's surface in search of his missing prisoners.
Wendell and Wilds are imprisoned in a criminal underground and forced to live on Buffalo Belzer's scalp, where they spend their days applying hair cream. The two brothers devise their separate schemes to destroy Belzer's undead amusement park. The brothers are able to leave the grave and join the Land of the Living with the aid of goth adolescent Kat Elliot (the human realm). He runs through the churchyard to terrorize and devastate the area after tracking the brothers down to their own macabre theme park. However, he feels remorse for his actions when he recalls that his previous children had left him. Belzer gradually persuades the brothers to work with him once more and start the fair despite being betrayed by them.
