Buffalogyu is a buffalo/bull-themed monster of the Satan Empire and an antagonist in episode 30 of The Kagestar.

He is voiced by the late Mahito Tsujimura, who previously voiced Kiba Inoshishi, Haedobura and Kanigabura in the same series, as well as Mezalord in Akumaizer 3.

Biography

Buffalogyu was summoned from the Satan Empire's Europa branch by Doctor Satan after the repeated failures of the other Satan Empire Kaijin to defeat Kagestar. Buffalogyu was tasked by Doctor Satan with kidnapping flamenco dancers so they could be converted into combatants for the Satan Empire's elite corps of female fighters.

Buffalogyu and a team of Satan Empire Combatants targeted a Spanish restaurant where Kageo, Suzuko and their friends were eating and watching Shinobu and several other flamenco dancers perform. When Buffalogyu and his men attacked, Kageo and Suzuko helped the flamenco flee and became Kagestar and Bellestar to fight the Satan Empire forces. The two faced Buffalogyu on a roof and used their capes to provoke him into charging at them toro-style, only to pull their capes back at the last second to cause him to hit a wall and knock his horns off. Left de-horned, Buffalogyu opted to flee for the time being.

Buffalogyu later returned to the Satan Empire's HQ and received a new set of horns. After Shinobu gave a televised speech to her missing mother Mitsuko, who had been abducted by the Satan Empire, Buffalogyu and his Satan Empire Combatants kidnapped her. Kageo and Suzuko became Kagestar and Bellestar and went to rescue her, but Buffalogyu threatened her to get the two of them to back down. However, having heard her daughter's speech, Mitsuko was motivated to resist the Satan Empire's conditioning and charged at Buffalogyu, stabbing a combatant and rescuing her daughter. While Mitsuko brought her daughter to safety, Kagestar and Bellestar fought Buffalogyu and his other combatants. Buffalogyu charged at Kagestar again, but Kagestar was able to chop his horns off before throwing him into the air and defeating him with a "Kage Kick". Upon hitting the ground, Buffalogyu got up and shouted "Heil Satan!" before exploding.
